Field Trip

Hey, Towana and I are heading up a field trip to The Treasure Chest (otherwise known as the Community Thrift Store) this afternoon. Lady D is coming and we hope that any of you that would like will join in. We should get there around 4:30 or 4:45 and may go somewhere for a salad afterwords. Wednesday is a great day to go because the trucks are out picking up Monday and Tuesday. Hope to see some of you there Mary

LIKE I TOLD HER, THAT WAS MY 1st SHOPPING TRIP SINCE YEARS BEFORE SURGERY ... ALL I EVER SHOPPED FOR BEFORE SURGERY WAS FLEECE PANTS, STRETCHY PANTS & T-SHIRTS. NOW, I GOTTA TAKE THAT BACK ... AT ABOUT 50 #s DOWN, I DID BUY AN OUTFIT SO WE COULD ATTEND A SIFE COMPETITION OUR DAUGHTER WAS IN. OTHER THAN THAT, I HAVE BEEN WEARING HAND-ME-DOWNS FROM MY BYPASS BUDDIES OR CHURCH BUDDIES. SO, WE HAD A GREAT TIME ... & MS TOWANA FOUND A CUTE, SUMMER OUTFIT FOR ME ... HOT PINK & WHITE ... NEXT MONDAY WE'RE GOING TO MEET AT THE JEWELRY WAREHOUSE TO SEE IF WE CAN FIND SOME SASSY (inexpensive) JEWELRY TO JAZZ UP MY OUTFIT ... I'LL GET A MANICURE & A PEDICURE (I'm gonna wear really cute white high heeled summer sandals) & I'LL BE SET FOR OUR DAUGHTER'S GRADUATION. I GOTTA TELL YOU, I PICKED OUT THE "NORMAL" TAILORED, BUTTONED-DOWN GREY & BLACK SHARKS' TOOTH BLEND OUTFIT ... VERY TRADITIONAL, VERY O-L-D ... & AM SOOOOOO GLAD WE DIDN'T GET IT. I'M GONNA FEEL CLASSY & SASSY IN MY NEW $6.24 3-PIECE OUTFIT! GOD BLESS YOU ...
