SAVE THE DATE!!!

I've mentioned it a couple of times recently, so now I'm making it official. I'm throwing myself a birthday get together on the evening of June 30th. Keep that date open on your calendar. I am giving you PLENTY of notice so I want NO excuses! I'd LOVE to be at goal by then, but at this point, I will accept being in the "normal" BMI category. So this birthday I can really have something to celebrate. A healthy new me and all my wonderful friends. Kathy

OMG KATHY!! You're killing me here!!! I just found out the other day RICK SPRINGFIELD is going to be in Atlanta on the 29th of June.. and I called all my girlfriends in GA.. we've made plans to go!! I swear to you.. I will try my best to make it.. but you gotta understand.. it's RICK SPRINGFIELD!!! My idol.. the lust of my life.. the man I would leave John for.. my teenage fantasy... the man I was arrested trying to break into his hotel room when I was 16 in Boston.. it's RICK!!!!!!!!

Ok Stephanie....I was soooo in love with Rick Springfield back in the day!!!! I can still see him on the cover of my record.....yes I said record!!!! For a long time, I thought that I WAS Jesse's girl!!!!! I can not believe you are going to see him. Shouldn't he have Alzheimer's by now? Stephanie..... this is TOO FUNNY...... I used to watch GH when he was on there as a dr. Noah Drake and of course I am from Boston.... now we watch the same Y&R.... lol... ok... but that is not ALL.... One time , oh around 10 years ago I think.... He was supposed to be playing in Great Woods, now its called the Tweeter Center..... well.. I had tickets to go with one of my friends. We were out of our minds excited. RIIIIICK, I mean, I had even seen the movie HARD TO HOLD the day it came out at the cinema!! Well..... there werent enough tickets sold, so we were refunded our $$ and the show was cxld!!! I was soooo bummed!! David Cassidy was my "true" childhood crush/love though and my very first concer though and I saw him when i was little and then again years later I saw him as an adult and actually "kissed" him. oh yeah..... i am now 'dating' my age.... lololol J. xo

yes, I was very much OUT OF CONTROL and then he says... into his microphone to the entire room.... "Shall I get a room for two?" omg... I died.....!! lol He was adorable. ADORABLE!!!!!! just so cute. after the show i had to call 3 people on the east coast.... mind you, I was in VEGAS and it was a week night. well..... the people i called were not as excited about the kissing incident.... (plus i was slurring and totally obnoxious.... lol) "pity" lololol xo

Yea.. David AND Shawn Cassidy were daBOMB!! I also lusted for Donnie Osmond and Bobby Sherman........But Leif Garrett was my Tiger Beat man... ( do they even produce that mag anymore??) I was so in love with Leif... that I stood outside of a record store in Boston.. it the freezing sleeting rain in the middle of November just to get a glimps of him... He's not bad looking now a'days either.. if you're into bald rough looking guys with goatee's... But alas.. it is RICK who has kept my heart skipping a beat into my late adulthood... I just don't understand WHY my husband isn't more excited about going to the concert... he keeps giving me this "glazed over" look and rolls his eyes... go figure
