BOARD CHALLENGE
I have talked to a couple of people from this board that I really admire regarding this subject. My sweet friend Tanya and Mary to name two! And this is such an important thing to have short term and long term goals!
I have some pretty BIG goals and then some small goals and then some silly stuff, and then there are things that I think I will just have to deal with forever....(like my broken heart!!)
here we go.....
short term... finish up my resume, get my apartment spotless before my surgery in 3 weeks, make an appointment to see my dentist (since i cxl'd the last one and have to get in there!!!), visit SC (doing next month!) check out rentals while there, and continuously research the job market and fine tune my skills (eeeeek!), start doing STRENGTH TRAINING excercises (this is something I have put off for 2 years)
long term... MOVE TO SC, Have my own family, have a dog again, own the place I am living in. get lasik, travel to New Zealand and other places in the world when time and $$ permits.
and for now..... that is all I can think of..... lol

WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL GOALS!!!
I GOTTA TELL YOU ... I WAS SUCH A LAZY BUTT ABOUT EXERCISING ... I COULDN'T EXERCISE FOR SO LONG DUE TO MY HEART & THEN I JUST DIDN'T WANT TO PUT OUT THE EFFORT. BUT, NICK & I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH A PERSONAL TRAINER & GOING TO THE GYM 4 - 6 TIMES A WEEK FOR NEARLY 3 WEEKS & WE ARE HOOKED! WE'RE DOING CARDIO, ABS, WEIGHT & RESISTENCE TRAINING & ARE SO EXCITED & SURPRISED AT HOW MUCH WE ARE ACTUALLY CAPABLE OF DOING AT OUR AGES (54 & 63) & AT OUR FITNESS LEVELS.
WE HAVEN'T SEEN A WEIGHT LOSS, BUT WE HAVE EXPERIENCED AN ENERGY SURGE, & WE THINK WE SEE SOME INCHES SHRINKING ... WE DEFINITELY HAVE MORE STRENGTH.
EVERYONE TRIED TO TELL ME HOW GREAT EXERCISING WAS & THEY WERE RIGHT. ALL I CAN SAY IS "TRY IT, YOU'LL LOVE IT & THE RESULTS ARE FABULOUS!"

Hi Dawn,
I want to get my Herb, Veggie and flower gardens planted no later than the middle of this month, "MAY". I also want to get started back at the YMC and start walking EVERYDAY!
And like everyone else, BOY OH BOY do I need to get my house organized! After our kitchen fire in March, we are just now starting to unpack boxes.

I USED TO LOVE TO KEEP FLOWER GARDENS THEN I GOT TOO BIG TO GET DOWN ON THE GROUND OR SIT LOW ON A STOOL & BE ABLE TO BREATH!
I CAN VOUCH FOR THE BENEFITS OF EXERCISING!!! I'M DEFINITELY WITH YOU ON GETTING BACK TO THE Y!
WE ALL SEEM TO HAVE SOMETHING IN OUR POOR HOMES THAT NEED OUR ATTENTION! AT LEAST WE ARE IN GOOD COMPANY!
