busy week!

I am trying hard to not work hard so i figured id tell about my busy week! Today i have to go find karington some suntan tights for dance and some black shoes for her hip hop outfit and she has pictures at 5 & 5:30 for those outfits.. at 6 I have to have her and Kassidy at their "school" program at the church they go to for school dressed and ready! Ack.. then at 8 im supposed to be back at dance for my class eek.. Still trying to figure out how im going to get the "dance makeup for stage" off of karington before she goes to the program so she doesnt look like a lil hussy Then tomorrow (i thought it was thursday but oops nope) i have to take Karington down to Columbia for the specialist to find out if she will have to have her pallet extended .. theyre doing an "air test" thing where they test the energy of air expelled through her nose vs. her mouth when she talks.. and i found out that my insurance doesnt cover this.. since its a part of "speech" great!!! but its my baby so ill pay for whatever she needs. Im praying for no surgery! We know that she has to have appliances put in her mouth in 6 or 7 mths to start trying to correct her jaw she has an 11 mm overjet with her top jaw vs the bottom jaw. which is not very noticable thank Goodness but its getting worse than better and is affecting her speech (resonance) which is why theyre doing these other test to make sure its not a short pallet problem as well.. SOOO then Thursday I have dance again (we are trying to catch up the recital is in a month from today and we havent learned the whole dance yet ACK) .. then Friday we have to go to Marietta that night to visit robs family and go to Greenville to visit his mom as well since we have not seen them in a couple of months oops.. and Saturday I have a birthday party at 10 am for the girls to go to , a wedding shower at 1 pm and another birthday party at 5 pm for the girls to go to.. SIGHHHHHH im tired already.. THEN sometime in between all of this I have to pack for all of us for 8 days of vacation at disney and we leave Sunday morning.. PHEW .. can u tell im stressing??? and on top of everything I checked the status of our tax return its being mailed on Friday.. which means it will come while were gone, GREAT.. i could sure use it now! so now i have to get someone to get my mail for me.. or have them hold it since my mail lady sucks and i get other peoples mail.. OH YEA and FRIDAY is also our 5th wedding anniversary! I forgot to add that so this is a very busy week!!! I guess we will be spending our anniversary visiting in-laws?!?! *JOY* And I am in desperate need of a pedicure.. Anyone else having a crazy week?!?! im going nuts! jen

I'm exhausted just reading this !! I hope you find time to slow down and enjoy your vacation. Never been to Disney, but hope to take my grands in the next year or two. Let me know when you get back how much money i need to save up for a trip. I remember those days when both my boys were young and into sports, I had to have a calendar to tell me where i needed to be.

Me and Rob took the girls Nov of 05 to disney and stayed at their "Value resorts" called Pop Century and it was awesome! the kids loved it because its so animated everywhere and huge nice pools, a food court, etc.. And it was only like 400 bucks for the whole week to stay there! Compared to their "moderate resorts" like Coronodo springs was 400 bucks a night! so it was a big saver to stay there. Also if the kids are under 3 they are free to get in parks and all.. which was awesome for us because ours were 2 and 6 mths..ill keep u posted on the pricing otherwise jen

Heck, I spend more than that taking them to the beach for a week! My grands are 1, 6, and 8. I'll have to make the parents go too because I can't handle them by myself. We'd have to get 2 rooms. When they say maximum of 4 to a room, can you cheat and put 5 in there without getting busted? I've looked at the value resorts online but when i say i have 5 people, it always tells me I can't do value.

I never give the "total" amount of people.. always stick with "2 adults 2 children" They dont do a head count! Especially with the 1 year old, it wont be an issue.. jen

Hey Anita! We went to Disney last year with our 3 kids. We stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside. We had a trundle bed for our 3rd kid. I don't know how big the value size rooms are but we did not have"extra" room in ours. We were ok, but it was a tight fit. I loved the Riverside. There were tons of trees and it made walking to the bus stop much nicer, not having to be out in the sun. We took our 3 kids for a week. We used a travel agent and did not use any discounts (stupid us). I think it was about $3500-$4000. We ate breakfast in our room everyday except oneprincess breakfast, we ate out for lunch and dinner and of course snacks. I have heard that the meal plans are great!!! We did not use it last time but will probably do it next year when we go. I think it is up to you as to how much you spend. Just know that everything is so expensive. There are tons of tips and discounts on the web. Check them out before you go!!! Melissa

I need to take a nap after reading that one and I just took my energy pill, adderal. Man! I do not envy you. It almost sounds like my weekend coming up. I can tell the summer rush for pet sitting is getting started so I am bracing for impact. Look on the bright side, the week will go by fast for you.
