ITS OUT!!! ITS OUT!!!!

Dr.B took my feeding tube out today!!! I'm so happy and it feels so much better to have that dang tube gone!!!! I can go back to work next week and really start enjoying the weight loss! I'm down 59 lbs today and weighed in at 195 (194 naked as a jay bird but who's counting?) I'm so relieved that this nightmare full of complications is coming to an end. The dietician (diet Debbie as I call her) told me to get some more liquid and protein in. I went to the Vitamin Shoppe as soon as I left the doctor and wouldn't you know that as I'm explaining to the sales lady that I had the surgery and was looking for Nectar protein powder, she says "the lady who just left the counter had the surgery and so did I" She then goes on to tell me the lady's name is "Lady D". I almost hit the ground. Dawn if you're reading, you and I were in the store at the same time and didn't even recognize each other, that's so funny especially since I think we were the only two people in there at that time. Boy when I get focused I don't pay attention to anything else. I gotta stop that, it's not good. I'm sure we will see each other again soon though. I actually kinda like this protein powder, it tastes fruity. The sales lady mixed me up a sample of the Fuzzy Navel kind and it was ok. I purchased the caribbean cooler, I'm going to mix it with some ice and water in the blender and make me a cool summer slush. Thanks so much to all of you who have been there for me with prayers, well wishes and advice. I wont be able to post much when I get back to work since they have us blocked from the internet but I will always catch up on the weekend. Love you all and I'll see you this Thursday at Pizza Inn. Congrats, Robin! I am glad you got your tube out. That must have been so uncomfortable for you. YAY! I hope you have a wonderful day! I wish I could say I will be seeing you 'this thursday' but soon enough I will say that!!!! I never did try the fuzzy navel (only in a bar... lol and that was many moons ago!) they sure have some funny drinks..... how about sex on the beach? lol I usually just stick with mocha or plain fruit. I tried mixing them up a bit in the beginning, but I got lazy, or just needed to keep it simple I guess? Anyway.... I am glad you are feeling fine and on your way! I will miss your posts when You are back at work, but I know you are glad to be going back (sorta kinda, sorta???) hugs, J.

Thanks J, Believe it or not I am so ready to get back to work. I actually like my job most of the time. Weird huh? Give me about a month and I'll be wishing I had these lazy carefree days of lounging and posting all day. I'm going to need more clothes too so that sucks!!! A friend of mine here gave me a bag of wonderful clothes I can wear to work so that helped out a lot. I was taken back when I heard the Fuzzy navel flavor of the Nectar protein too! I don't know why but I have been craving to have an apple martini for months now and I don't even really drink. I think the last time was almost a year ago. They have lots of flavors of this brand though, Strawberry Kiwi, Strawberry, Cherry, Lemonade, Iced Tea, and some others I can't remember. I also bought a bottle of Isopure Apple Melon protein drink. It's very, very tart but it's good. I think it'll take me awhile to get that tangy stuff down. They have other flavors that I'll try in the future. Talk to you soon hun, Robin
