Back Home
Well I did it. I am back home and doing great. My doctor said he wishes he could clone me because I did so good. I got out on Friday and went to my moms so she could help my husband but didn't know I wouldn't need that extra help since I was doimg so good. We came home today Sunday. My gastric by-pass was Tuesday evening at 5:45 and I came back from the recovery on Tuesday night at 9:00 pulling 2200 on the breathing thing and all they required was 1000. All my nurses were amazed. Now the couching they wanted me to do was not as easy but I made it through. The only problem I have is laying flat in the bed.
It feels like it pulls too much on the incision. I hope when the staples come out this will go away. Right now I have to sit up with cushions and pillows behind me. Not very comfortable for the tail bone but better than the pain in my chest and belly incision.

Go girl!!!
It is so good to see that you are doing well. Remember just because you feel good, doesn't mean your body inside is ready for activity. (I had a hard time with wanting to do too much). This is your time, let others swoon over you and you kick back and take it.
Try to keep something to drink beside you all the time. Just sip all day long.
Congrats!!!!!!!!!
