For those of you that drink CIB a lot, here is a website that you can order from online: www.careexpress.com. They have vanilla, chocolate, and variety packs. The chocolate also comes in the canister. Susan

Hey When I drink it, I mix it with skim milk. For a cup, it is 150 cals, about 16 grams of protein. Then I just eyeball the extra protein to total about 25-30 grams. I don't like to add too much protein because then it changes the taste too much for me and I don't like it. I am all for change right now!!! Melissa

I make it with 1% milk. Here is what I found: 1 CIB packet: 60 cal., 5g protein 1.5 scoops Any Whey protein powder: 70 cal., 24g protein (1.5 scoops) 8-10 oz. 1% milk: 100 cal., 10g protein (about 8.5g protein per cup) 39g protein 230 calories Susan

I haven't tried it. I keep hearing about it though. I always used the Isopure Dutch chocolate which I mixed with water. I was a HUGE skim milk dirnker before, but after surgery, I couldn't even SMELL milk. But now, I find myself craving it again. Of course, so far post op when it is not part of your "meal." it is just extra calories. Is it dairy at all? Dairy now makes me a littl pootie. So maybe this stuff will be good for me. I'll have to try it.

YEAH, IT'S DAIRY ... SO IT PROBABLY WILL CAUSE YOU DISTRESS. MS DEBBIE, OUR NUTRITIONIST, MENTIONED THAT THERE IS SOMETHING PEOPLE CAN TAKE FOR LACTOSE INTOLERANCE THAT CAN ALLOW YOU TO DRINK MILK, BUT HONESTLY, IF YOU'RE ALREADY USED TO WATER WITH PROTEIN SHAKES, STICK WITH THAT & JUST BE SURE TO TAKE YOUR CALCIUM CITRATE. GOD BLESS YOU ... DAWN & NICk
