Heads up to a great find!!! Costco...there was this new liquid protein they were selling called Body Choice and it is yummy...a berry flavor...it's in a bottle...something like 30 servings...20 oz of protein in only 3oz serving....no sugar, no carbs...sure works for me...way cheaper than profect and better tasting too.

So far I been stocking up on all kinds of protein ( only because from what I read on the board after surgery the taste buds change ) so I haven't tasted any except I did try the Body Choice. Not bad by the way..
I dug out my Richard Simmons food mover case, has little windows you pull down when you drink water, exercise, vitamins, protein,fats,carbs,fruits,dairy,vegetables
even has daily motivators easy to toss in my purse.
I'm a closet exerciser I have a Bow flex, treadmill & Ab Chair 2 Pro 2007 I think I'm set now.. My girlfriend Ciara works out with me & we walk every night.
I will keep a diary, not only for me but the dietitian as well if I ever need her help she'll at least have some idea of what I been doing.

I COULDN'T EXERCISE BECAUSE OF MY HEART ISSUES, BUT I DID LIMIT MY FOOD INTAKE & LOST WEIGHT BEFORE SURGEY, WHICH GAVE ME A REAL EMOTIONAL BOOST. ANYTHING YOU CAN DO NOW IS A PLUS FOR YOU!!!
NICK & I HAVE SOME EQUIPMENT AT HOME (we're gonna sell them) BUT, HONESTLY ... WE'RE SO LAZY ONCE WE SIT DOWN AT NIGHT THAT WE WON'T EVEN USE THEM. SO, KNOWING OUR WEAKNESSES, WE JOINED A GYM & ARE EXERCISING WITH A PERSONAL TRAINER AT PIVOTAL ... WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! WE GO 6 DAYS A WEEK WORKING THE RESISTENCE MACHINES & CARDIO ONE DAY & THEN CARDIO & ABS THE NEXT DAY. YOU COULDN'T HAVE EVER CONVINCED ME THAT I WOULD LOVE DOING EXERCISE, ESPECIALLY AT MY AGE ... BUT, WE ARE BOTH ABSOLUTELY HOOKED.
NEITHER OF US HAS EXERCISED IN DECADES, BUT WE ARE SEEING INSTANT RESULTS ... &, THE AMAZING THING IS THAT WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO EVERYTHING & EVEN INCREASE OUR SETS ... ALL THIS IN ONLY 2 WEEKS. YESTERDAY, MS JUDY GAVE US ABOUT 8 NEW EXERCISES TO ADD TO THE 4 WE WERE ALREADY DOING & WE BOTH DID ALL OF THEM (muscles shaking, but we did them!) & I EVEN DID AN EXTRA SET OF AB EXERCISES. WE WERE BLOWN AWAY!

THE PROBLEM WITH THAT IS THAT WHEN YOU ARE GONE FROM THE HOUSE, UNLESS YOU REMEMBER TO WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN, YOU USUALLY FORGET SOMETHING BY THE TIME YOU GET BACK TO THE PC. YOUR FOOD MOVER SOUNDS PERFECT! MS JOAN KEEPS HER DIARY IN HER DAY TIMER SO IT IS ALWAYS WITH HER.
YOU ARE SO WISE ABOUT THAT ... MS DEBBIE, THE MUSC NUTRITIONIST, WAS JUST TALKING ABOUT THAT AT THE LAST MEETING ... THAT PATIENTS WILL COME TO HER & SAY SOMETHING LIKE, "I'M NOT GETTING MY FLUIDS OR PROTEIN IN", THEN WHEN SHE ASKS THEM HOW MUCH THEY HAVE BEEN GETTING IN SO SHE CAN SUGGEST HOW TO GET THE REST IN, THEY HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH THEY HAVE BEEN INJESTING BECAUSE THEY AREN'T KEEPING A DIARY ... SO, HER HANDS ARE TIED, SHE CAN'T HELP THEM.
BE SURE TO GO TO SOME OF THE TRANSITION CLASSES WITH MS DEBBIE ... & THE POST OP CLASSES WITH THE 2 MALE SHRINKS AT MUSC. THEY ALSO HAVE A MONTHLY MEETING WITH SPECIFIC TOPICS THE 3rd THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH. EVEN IF YOU KNOW "EVERYTHING" THEY TALK ABOUT (which won't happen), THE REVIEW OF GOOD INFO ALWAYS HELPS!
I HAVE ONE CANISTER OF PROTEIN POWDER AFTER ANOTHER LINED UP ON MY KITCHEN COUNTER, BUT YOU HAVE EVEN MORE THAN I DO ... WOWOWOWOW! I'LL WARN YOU, OUR NUTRITIONIST, MS DEBBIE, IS NOT A PROPONENT OF PROTEIN SUPPLEMENTS. SHE'S RIGHT WHEN SHE SAYS THAT YOU CAN GET EVERYTHING YOU NEED FROM REAL FOOD (she's a nutritionist afterall!!!!), BUT BOTH NICK & I HAVE FOUND THAT USING THEM AS A SUPPLEMENT HAS TRULY HELPED US WITH FOOD CONTROL, WEIGHT LOSS & OUR FAMILY PHYSICIAN HAS BEEN AMAZED THAT SINCE WE BEGAN THEM, OUR LABS HAVE COME BACK THE BEST THEY HAVE EVER BEEN.
SAYING THAT, HOW I EAT MAY NOT WORK FOR YOU OR ANYONE ELSE. AS MS DEBBIE SAID, YOU HAVE TO FIND WHAT WORKS FOR YOU! I EAT 6 SNACKS A DAY BUT OTHERS EAT 2 OR 3 LARGER MEALS. I USE PROTEIN SUPPLEMENTS, TONS OF VITAMINS, MINERALS & MANGOSTEEN JUICE ... OTHERS BARELY NEED THE BASIC VITAMINS, MINERALS & CALCIUM. LISTEN TO YOU BODY. THE BOTTOM LINE IS WE MUST GET IN OUR FLUIDS & PROTEINS, TAKE AT LEAST OUR BASIC SUPPLEMENTS, LIMIT OUR CALORIES, SUGARS, WHITE CARBS & BAD OILS/FATS ... &, EXERCISE. HOW YOU GET THAT DONE IS HOWEVER IT WORKS BEST FOR YOU.
