Everything I eat and drink comes right back up. I can't even take my medicine and vitamins tonight because I'm so sick. I feel dehydrated and I keep drinking my water but I just can't get enough. Is there anything I should be doing while I have this bug? I kinda figured I was coming down with it for the last few days because I've been feeling so bad. Well I'm going to bed now and hopefully I won't be up all night throwing up.

Hi Tanya, Hope you are feeling better this morning. Please call your dr if you are not so they can give you the best course of action to take! You need to make sure you stay hydrated, this is the most important thing of all!! It is never fun to get sick, but when you are a gb patient AND this new out it is dangerous. please take extra care of yourself. hugs!!!

Tanya, I am sorry you got the bug this soon out of surgery. Call Dr. Morgan's ofc and tell them. They will give you something for the nausea and that should help keep the fluids down at least. I hope you feel better soon. Julie

Try freezing everything. Its easier sometimes to eat frozen than to drink

Hope you feel better Tanya. I know when I had this bug it wasn't fun at all, so 2 weeks out really stinks. I would call Dr. Morgan and ask her what to do so you don't get dehydrated. Susann

I hate that you are sick. I was about 3 weeks out when I got a bug too. I took fennigin (however you spell it). I slept. When I drank anything it had to be ice cold and I could only drink a tiny bit at a time. The best thing to do is at least drink what you can, suck on a popsickle and try to sleep the bug away. I tell ya, that won-ton soup was so calming on my tummy. Just warn broth. Call me if you need me. Deb

SO SORRY YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL, MS TANYA. TRY SUCKING ON SF POPCICLES ... MAYBE SOME WARM TEA (SKIP THE LEMON), BUT REMEMBER, TEA IS A DIARETIC ... TRY BROTH OR SOUP. REMEMBER, IF YOU GET SICK WHERE YOU NEED ANTIBIOTICS, THE FIRST DOSE MAY NOT BE ENOUGH NOW THAT YOU HAVE HAD GASTRIC BYPASS DUE TO OUR MALABSORPTION ISSUES. HOPE YOU'RE FEELING BETTER REAL SOON. GOD BLESS YOU ... DAWN & NICk
