How's everyone doing on their 30 day challenge? I'm not do that great, but I have definitely cut back on everything EXCEPT caffiene. I forgot my coffee at home this morning and pouted all morning. I had to drink the stuff here that tastes like warm water instead...YUCK Bfast: 2 eggs w/ salsa, coffee w/creamer Snack: soy Protien snack Lunch: 1/2 bf enchilada, 1/2 crunchy bf taco snack: protien shake Dinner: protien shake Water: Eh, maybe 30 oz so far? Vitamins: 1/2 in Exercise: not yet, maybe after work You?

Hiya Kathy: Corporate world = too many chiefs and not enough indians. Here's where I'm at today. B - hot tea and CIB S - Protein Bar L - Pork Roll S - nothing yet D - planning on garlic chicken Water - yup and still drinking Vitamins - almost done Exercise - gym this am and running around town all day Still smoking, but cutting down - I'm doing it in baby steps. B: 2 eggs S: Profect vial L: 3 (silver dollar sized) pitas (white carbs!) with roasted red pepper hummus S: (planned) deli turkey & cheese slice D: (planned) beef and bean burritos for hubby and daughter, just the insides for me Water: about halfway there Vitamins: 2 down, 2 to go Exercise: 40 minutes on the treadmill I bought some Edy's NSA ice cream at Publix a little while ago. Breakfast...Carb control oatmeal snack....protein bar lunch....lean cuisine snack...2 pickle spears right now ( they are only 5 calories a piece, so I'm not really counting them real snack.....planned protein bar dinner...planned left over lasagna that I made the other day! water.....oh yeah!!!! vits. half way there exercise...not today...had to work this morning! OH MY GOSH, MS KATHY ... YOU ARE DOING SO MUCH BETTER ... GOOD FOR YOU, GIRL! I KNEW YOU COULD BEAT THE SUGAR/CARB DEMON! SINCE YOU LIKE COFFEE FLAVOR, HAVE YOU TRIED THE CAPPUCCINO PROTEIN SHAKES WITH (or, without) THE FRENCH VANILLA FLAVORING THAT I'VE BEEN DRINKING? YOU MIGHT ENJOY THEM. FOOD - 3 POWER CRUNCH PROTEIN BARS 1 CHICKEN THIGH - meat only, NO skin WILL DRINK A COUPLE WATER/PROTEIN CAPPUCCINO SHAKES or PROTEIN PUDDING WILL HAVE 1/2 C VEGE STEW W/ A LITTLE PROTEIN WATER - 54 OZs SO FAR VITAMINS, MINERALS, SUPPLEMENTS & XANGO (Mangosteen Juice) - ON SCHEDULE ... NEED TO TAKE MY CALCIUM CITRATE - I forgot this morning GYM - NICK & I WILL DO 2 SETS OF 20 MINS ON THE TREADMILL &, 2 SETS OF 12 REPS OF 4 RESISTENCE EXERCISES (some seem too easy already so we asked our Trainer, Judy, if we should increase the weight/resistence or the # of sets) I'M REALLY PLEASED SO FAR, MS KATHY ... I STARTED SEVERAL DAYS BEFORE YOU PLACED YOUR 30-DAY CHALLENGE ON THE BOARD; I'M STAYING VERY FOCUSED ... I'VE GONE DOWN FROM 173.2 TO 168.0 & AM BOBBLING UP & DOWN A POUND THE LAST COUPLE DAYS ... WITH SUPPLEMENTS, VERY HIGH PROTEIN, 1,000 CALORIES & NO WHITE CARBS ... VERY LITTLE SUGAR (from the protein bars) & ADDING VEGES, I'M FEELING FANTASTIC, HAVE TONS OF ENERGY & STAYING IN A REALLY GOOD MOOD - not having mood swings at all. NICK & I ARE SO LOVIN' THE GYM EXPERIENCE. WE STARTED VERY, VERY SLOWLY ... VERY LITTLE TO NO PAIN ... &, ARE ALREADY SEEING IMPROVEMENTS. DOWNSIDE ... I was doing great on my challenge until today. A fight with DH first thing in the morning then my car broke on the way to work. So of course I turn to food. But I will confess here so that I can do better Watch how bad it is getting as the day is progressing am - banana snack - special k bar lunch - grits and sausage snack - kashi protein bar AND 4, yes I said 4 OREOS Okay I feel better. For dinner maybe spinach and cheese water bad vitamins - not yet exercise - maybe
