Feeding tube has to stay in...
Well, I went to Dr.B today and I have to keep the feeding tube in, but I can stop the TPN. He wants to make sure I'm able to at least get in enough liquids on my own before he takes it out. Not the news I wanted but I will be patient and I thank GOD for Dr.B and his wisdom. It would be awful to have the feeding tube taken out just to realize that I can't eat on my own and have to have another one put in the other arm. Thanks for your continued prayers and keep your fingers crossed for next Monday. Love yall!

Hi Robin!
Just wanted to say that my doctor did the same thing ... I had to live with the feeding tube dangling from my upper arm for at least a week (can't remember how long he made me wait) before he'd remove it. As I'm sure you know, getting one of those lines in is a pain (literally!) ... hang in there another few days and you will be FREEEEE!
I'm really happy that you're off the "White Bag O' Doom" now though! Sending all my positive thoughts your way, hoping that your rested digestive system will work as it's supposed to now!
Dawn
