YOU'RE NOT FAR ENOUGH OUT FOR THIS DIET SWEETIE ... THIS IS PRETTY SEVERE. I DID POST IT IN AN ANSWER TO MS DEBBIE, BUT STICK WITH THE NORMAL POUCH/FOOD/FLUIDS/EXERCISE RULES & YOU MAY LOSE ALL YOUR WEIGHT BEFORE YOUR BODY "HITS THE WALL". MOST DO. I WAS ALWAYS AN EXTREMELY SLOW LOSER DUE TO THE HEART MEDS I WAS ON ... THEY KEPT MY MOTABOLISM (sp?) ON THE FLOOR. KEEP ON KEEPIN' ON! GOD BLESS YOU ... DAWN & NICk

Congrats Dawn, I guess I am going to have to try that liquid diet out. Think I will see if I can get some good protein bars at Vitamin Shoppe tomorrow and try this out on Monday. Glad you are "moving" in the right direction now. Susann

Susann, Check and see if they have a protein bar called "Think Thin" these are the best protein bars I have come across in the past 2 years of my searching high and low.... (and no... i was not high when I was searching..... lol) seriously though. They are sugar free, high protein 20g per bar.... @ 280 cal per bar, gluten free (if you watch that) and net carbs are low..... they do have sugar alcohols and that does bother some, but i dont think you will find a protein bar that doesnt have them. and if you are looking for that will need to go to protein shake. I have been searching for the perfect bar for so long. I found this at Whole Foods, not sure if you have these in South Carolina. They also have them at Trader Joes. But I heard that you can order them online too, so you could do a search. good luck! xo

I DIDN'T FEEL BAD, OR WEAK, OR CRANKY AT ALL ... I WASN'T RAVENOUS & HAD NO CRAVINGS ... I HAD MORE THAN ENOUGH ENERGY TO WORK OUT AT PIVOTAL. WHEN I GOT HUNGRY, THERE WAS ALWAYS SOMETHING TO EAT OR DRINK SINCE I'M USING SOME KIND OF PACKAGED PROTEIN 8 - 10 TIMES A DAY. YOUR TOTAL CALORIE COUNT FOR THE DAY WILL BE AROUND 1,000 CALORIES & YOUR PROTEIN GRAMS WILL SOAR! I THINK THAT IS GIVING MY BODY WHAT IT NEEDS SO IT WILL RELEASE THE STORED FAT. I ATE 2 1/4 CUP SERVINGS OF MY VEGE STEW & IT TASTED GREAT BUT THIS IS MY 5th DAY. I DID ADD SALMON & SHRIMP TO THE VEGES FOR MORE PROTEIN. BEFORE THIS, ALL I HAD WAS PACKAGED PROTEIN. LET ME KNOW HOW YOU DO, BUT DON'T START UNTIL YOU ARE COMPLETELY OVER YOUR TUMMY BUG & HAVE REGAINED YOUR ENERGY FROM THAT! GOD BLESS YOU ... DAWN & NICk

I'm so proud of you! Now I know that "STICKING WITH IT" actually works and there IS hope after a year. Now rub some of that determination on me! I'm struggling! Kathy
