Home today...

Teagan has that stomach virus...I got called to pick her up at around 4:30pm yesterday. She was the 3rd one in the class to be sent home that day. She couldn't even hold water down yesterday. Puking and sitting on the toilet at the same time. Turns out pushing fluids was the WRONG thing to do. Doctor said to give her system COMPLETE rest. No water or anything for at least 2 hours...and as long as we could go. Then introduce clear liquids slowly...a tsp of gatorade every 10 minutes - no more. Sound familiar? Anyway, she seems to be doing better this morning. BUT I AM BORED and all I want is anything white and carby! I am really being tested today. Guess I'll go clean something. Hands full of chemicals are easier to keep out of the bag of pretzels.... Anyone else doing anything exciting? Kathy

Hey Kathy I'm sorry Teagan is sick. Hope she is even better by the end of the day. My exciting day....well, I guess I'll get out of bed . Then I'm planning on going to the gym, since this is one of the things that I was going to do EVERY DAY!!! At least I know how to use the equipment correctly now (I'm also a little sore today from yesterday's workout). Then I'm going to come home and cook some chicken so I will have something onhand to eat and won't reach for those evil protein bars. I'll probably make some jello, too (I was looking over the plateau busters diet and going to follow to shock my body into losing again). Then....I'll be working at Pizza Inn tonight.... Hugs, Dianne

I hope Teagan feels better real soon! Prayers have been sent up. I'm bored too, I decided to go brush my hair and realized that it is coming out in huge volumes now!! I knew it would happen eventually but good grief it's so scary when you see it fill the brush like this! Try brushing your teeth then drinking a little water right after, that will kill that craving that you're having right now. Oh, and I'm not doing anything either. I'm trying to find my way to the bottom of a huge box of Puffs Plus today. I can't stop sneezing, and my nose is like a drippy faucet. Waaaa!!! But I'm really sorry about Teagan's bout with the bug. I was wondering where you were today.. It was so quiet on the baord this morning... I hope Teagan get's to feeling better ... Nothing exciting going on in the wide and crazy world of construction accounting... same 'ole same 'ole I'm a little nervous.. I go "under the laser" at 4pm today for my lasik eye surgery.. I had to come to work with NO MAKE UP ON! I can't wear anything on my face.. not even lotion... I don't take the trash down to the curb without at least mascara on! I'm hiding in my office today...
