My camping group is planning a trip in June to Country Earl's and the jocket lot in Anderson. We have been checking out campgrounds. I found Skuffletown RV park. Any advise on it? I understand it is very close to Country Earl's.

Hi Chris, I've never heard of Country Earl's ... but the Scuffletown RV park (http://www.scuffletownusa.com/) is a hop and a skip from my son and daughter-in-law's house, and is in a nice part of town. There are a couple of large grocery stores nearby, along with gas stations, fast food, etc. Seems like it'd be a good spot to spend the night. ~ Dawn

I have never been to Country Earl's but some of the people in our group has. It is a dinner/show with a band and dancing but is non-alcoholic. It is on Balcome Blvd. in Simpsonville. It is a one price for all kind of deal. We just wanted to stay somewhere close by so we don't spend our weekend in the road too much. I know the jockey lot is a little ways but we will do that on Saturday morning and the dinner that night. I lived in Seneca/Walhalla for 5 years. Thanks for the information. Just wanted to make sure we were in a good part of town.
