Help Me

Oh Wow! I don't know if I like the food or the idea of the whole experience better! It just sounds wonderful, all of it. I love shrimp, I love sausage (just dont tell me how it is made... lol) I love corn. Now, we just need some ice cold beverages, and I am thinking "Josh Holloway" since he has a nice southern accent.... I have been to many clam bakes, but never one of these... have you ever had steamers? lol hugs.

Yummm... Frogmore Stew is almost as good in the Upstate as it is in the Lowcountry. At our house, we add Old Bay seasoning to the water, and little red potatoes along with the onions, and sausage. Awww man, now guess what I'm craving?!! Dawn

ok... now you are talking my language.... Old bay seasoning.... isnt that what you use for Alaskan King Crab Legs??????? mmmmmmmmmmmmm. NOW I AM SERIOUSLY HAVING A CRAVING for CRAB LEGS AND BUTTER. And frogmore stew and maine lobster. I think I am having an identity crisis...... hahahahahahaha can someone please help me...... xoxo

You are a hoot, girl. Seafood is my best friend, especially since my WLS! I love crab legs ... and shrimp ... and scallops ... and crab cakes (WITHOUT the Dick Sauce, right Mary?) ... and lobster ... and grilled Mahi Mahi, which is on the menu tonight at my house. Just another in a loooooong list of reasons that prove I was destined to live on the beach. Dammit. Dawn

Mary! Relaaaaax! You'll find (as we did) that the Groom's Parents have the easy job ... everybody just wants to chill out and have a fun party for the Rehearsal Dinner. Your menu is perfect ... and after the first glass of wine, you'll have the best time ever, surrounded by family and friends who are all HAPPY because love is in the air! I have said it before: I wish we could go back and have the same rehearsal dinner party we had for my son ... about every 6 months! We had a blast. Have a wonderful weekend ... and enjoy!!! That's the plan Dawn. I am pretty sure that I'm the only wine drinker in the group, yet I told my husband that we needed lots. I think my first glass will be before the party, then I will let myself become my mother and be able to handle this I have calmed down, I just think I had to get it out one last time. I have a "staging room" ready for all that we need to load into the car Thursday, I've been adding stuff. Thanks to everyone for the encouragement. Mary
