Getting Sugery in Conway, SC

I have not been on here for a long time, because I thought getting lap band surgery was going to be hopeless. My insurance does not pay. I have finally got the finances and I sent of my paperwork today. I am going to see Dr. Balder in Conway, SC. I am soooooooooo excited! I was just wondering has anyone had surgery with him and how did it go? My fiance is worried and is trying talk me out of it.

I do not know the answer to your questions I just wanted to say Congrats on the surgery! You will be a loser soon. A bit of advice, normally when a loved one tries to talk you out of the surgery it is because they are scared for you and them. Talk to him, share all your knowledge about the surgery and reassure him. See if that helps. Tell him to sign in as you on the site and tell him to lurk whereever he wants. Nicole Dr. Balder did my surgery on 3/30/07, I really like his manners and patenice. Conway Hosp. staff or very familliar with weight loss surgery and our needs. They will keep you confortable and give you support. PS best thing I ever did.

Thanks for the encouragement. I know in my heart everything will be fine. That is a good idea. I could let him see the information on this website. It is really helpful to me. i dont think he understands the surgery.
