Yuck Yuck Yuck

MY poor hubby Scott and our 4 year old Gabriel have both been up most of the night vomiting and the big D word. I feel so bad for them. Gabriel was really sick and ask my daughter to pray for him. Bless his heart. Please pray they get better and I do not get this terrible bug. I think I would curl up and die. Love to all and have a great Tuesday. And thank you all for your advice and support. Jennifer Welcome to my world!! This bug has made it's way through my 5 yr old...then my hubby....and now is terrorizing my 9 yr old. Oh, and my mom just called and she has it too!!!!! I hope your family feels better soon!!! I hope you don't get it!!! Melissa

Jennifer, My heart goes out to you. I had it last week and it is not pretty. It is went through my entire family, in 2 households, in a week, so take care. The minute you start feeling sick, get the nausea meds! But I will pray you do not get it, because it is something I would not wish on my worst enemy! The good news is it that my 94 yo Grandmother was feeling better in about 24 hours, the bad news is it put the rest of us down for about 4 days. The nausea and only lasted about 12 hours. So the worst is just about over, hang in there. Julie

I'm sorry your family is ill Jennifer, I'll pray for their healing. My husband and I had it last week and it was ugly. Didn't get the vomit part but got the big D in a big way if you know what I mean. Use lots of hand sanitizer and go get a big bottle of lysol and spray everything!!! Knobs on doors, toilet seats, faucets, beds, and even the floor where they stood to vomit. If you kill the virus early, it won't last that long and wont travel to you. Oh, and don't touch your nose, eyes, or mouth for the next few days with your hands if you can help it. Grab a paper towel for that itchy eye or nose. Hope this helps hun! Robin

Jennifer, I am praying hard that your family gets better. We had it and I went on a clorox spree, I even threw away toothbrushes so that we would stop passing it around (my 5 year old had it twice). I got it and immediately started my left over phenergan for the nausea. I still felt terrible, but at least I didn't throw up. Good Luck!!! Mary

Thanks a lot . I knew I had read it was going around. Thank you all for your help. I have them all set up this morning. Nice and warm. With plenty to drink. And Gabriel is propped up in his bed with a dinosaur movie in. I lined trash cans and set them beside their beds in case they cannot get to the bathroom. That is so I do not have to do vomit cleaning all day. Glad everyone else is doing better. I already have some nausea medicine ready if I start to get sick. Left over. Robin, I am washing my hands and not touching my face like you said. I will go and spray everything down. I also have 2 teenagers still living home and they were okay this morning and went to school. Hope it passes the rest of us up. I hate throwing up. I feel so bad for my husband Scott. He never gets sick. Guess it's about time. He is worried because he has to work tonight. Poor baby. And Gabriel gets sick and says Jesus Jesus between hurls. He sure loves Jesus. He loves when we ride in the car and listen to veggie tale cds. Sunday morning songs. He's an angel. I know he is not biologically mine nor adopted but I am thankful everyday the Lord gave him to me to take care of....Well I better go check on my fellows. Love to all...Jennifer

Jennifer: Been there, done that. My house passed it around a month or so ago. Boy, are they all pitiful when their not feeling well. But remember... this to shall pass. (Hopefully, soon) and everyone will be up and well. And it won't come your way Colleen

I feel so sad for you, but I don't want to change places with you at all. It went through my house about 2 weeks after our surgery. Trent and my two sons were all sooooo sick. I called the doctor and he sent eveyone in some meds and even me. I didn't get it as bad as the others, but for about 2 days I felt so bad. I remember going to our group meeting and when everyone ask how I was doing, I said great, they said well, you don't look so good. It was then that that 'ole bug was jumping on me. Hopefully it will pass you by. Give everyone my love and some hugs. Deb
