Thank You!!

Hi All, Thank you for the advice and support. This is a WONDERFUL resource and tool- I can't wait to get my mother in law (Pat) on the website. She will really need support and encouragement. After some hunting, I have found that Dr. Voellinger in Charllote seems to be a good place to start. The women in his office were soooooooo great on the phone, I can't even tell you. Pat called herself, after some encouragement, to register for the seminar. My husband and I are going to take her to the informational seminar this coming monday, the 16th. I know she isn't even considered one of his patients yet, but it feels so good to get the ball rolling. We should have done this a long time ago. She was turned down 3 years ago for gastric bypass for being to big. Dr. V's office was very, very encouraging- and we hope she can get the cardiac clearance for the surgery. Just wanted to say thanks for being here. This will be a safe haven for Pat through the whole process. I wish you all nothing but continued success. Anna

Hi Anna again. I just heard back from my friend in Charlotte and the person your Mother-in-law is going to see is who did their surgery. So it looks like your starting point is a good one because I know they both did very well with their surgery. I think his wife had the RNY and he had the band so it looks like your Mother-in-law is have a choice between the two. Good Luck Julie
