Thank you Ms Colleen ... I'll have to see if I can find it ... I'm kinda at a loss as to if where I'm at & what is happening with these long, long stalls is normal this far out.

Hey Susann........we are losing the same 2-3lbs it seems. I am doing the same thing....the 2 days of sneaking jellybelly jellybeans is over!!! Its easy to do when you know a few are just a few gms of sugar. I am doing the strict protein powder thing and one good meal a day, like chicken or beef, veggies/salad, and like I used to do. The Marie Callendar meals frozen in the freezer section, is really good, I eat the baked chicken with green beans all the time. Let me know how you are doing, and yes, I want the weather to start turning nice, its been really rainy/cloudy/cold, and I am SO SENSITIVE to cold now. And I want to start walking, up and down my mountain here near the house. Call me when you get here, I am happy to go with you to see Dr Fuentes, I need a shot of botox, badly!!! Deb PS I did not recognize you, the first thing that came to mind was "I wonder what your hubby thinks of you now!!!"

Like Becky said, you are losing inches even if the scales are not moving. Your body is getting used to it's new weight and stabilizing right now. Just be patient and keep drinking water and eating protein. This is normal, even though it is very frustrating! Don't worry - we all go through this. It might take a few days or a few weeks but you will start losing again. Susan

Jennifer, If you are exercising, you could be just building muscle which weighs more than fat. Also, when you go from eating alot of carbs (like most of us did before surgery) to eating mostly protein, your body composition "shifts." I remember this happening to me once when I did the Atkins diet. The scale hardly moved but I dropped a couple sizes! Also, don't get too focused on the scale because we, as women, are so prone to retaining fluids, etc., that it will drive you crazy!!! Focus on how you feel and how your clothes are fitting and the scale will catch up eventually! You are obviously doing something right or you wouldn't have already lost the 54 pounds! Keep it up!!!! melanie

Ok, this may not work for everyone, but this is what I did.... I took my scales out on the back porch, slammed them on the ground a few times, kicked them off the steps a few times and reminded them who they work for, and the next time I got on them, I had lost 5 pounds. Deb

That was some funny crap. I probably laughed away 5 pounds from your comment. I can't find my scales now. I think they went to hide...LOL....I love you guys...Jennifer

Hey Deborah, I can't, it keeps me honest to look at my scales everyday....and I read somewhere that people who weigh everyday or every other day, will keep their weight off, because they can tell if they start to gain and then can get it in check quickly. I know lots of people who had to throw away their scales because they became obsessed with them. Love ya!!! Deb

Yea, I weigh everyday too unless I am not home, and then I hope for a surprise when I return. This morning the scale**** 50 pounds. I have been waiting for that for so long. I believe it is true when yall said that when the scales don't move, the inches do. I have noticed my clothes changing, fast, and I love it. Sometimes it is hard for me to believe that 50 pounds has gone away in only 2 months. Deb

well you have done great! in such a short amount of time.. your body is in "shock" and is trying to adjust itself to losing so fast.. but believe me youll be going down a pant size SOON now! those stalls in weight always meant a change in size.. and now ive noticed, i go 3 weeks without losing, then when i have my monthly i lose about 4-6 lbs for my loss of the month lol.. sucks but ill take it !! so now i look forward to my visit from aunt flo! youre doing fine!!! jen
