Help me understand

It seems that once I got down 54 pounds to 260 I have stopped losing and instead teetering between 260 and 262. I do not understand. My clothes continue to get looser. People say I seem to be losing more weight and I do look smaller but the scale is not moving but up and down. I should be starting my period in a few days but this has been going on for 2 weeks now. I am discouraged. What do I do? Help me..Explain what is happening to me. I know someone on here has dealt with the same issue at some point. Love to all Jennifer Vallentine

you sound just like me ,you are losing inches that God for inches my scale goes up & down all the time & my clothes is falling off ,one time I went up 7lbs freaked me out & then I lost 10 the same night crazy I know but sometimes our body holds on to water if we are not getting enough till we put more back in our bodies so now I drink alot more water now,good luck & keep drinking your water & protein that is the most imp thing & the weight will melt off

Don't worry Jennifer, you lost the first 54 lbs. so fast your body is just trying to catch up. You will start losing again soon...just hang in there! Susann

OK WHO IS THIS WOMAN IN YOUR AVATAR!!!! Wow Susann...... sorry but had to jump in when I saw it...now about the weight loss..hang on it will start again. Drink more liquids and flush that fat out..... Joan M

Thanks Dawn, you are too sweet. No, I have not been able to break my stall. Even with exercise I have gained and lost the same 3 or 4 lbs. This week I am going on a strick high protein regimine and see if I can move the scale some. I am going to CA in 4 weeks and wanted to break the 200 mark before then...but that won't happen now. If I can just lose another 10 lbs. before then I would be elated. Susann

MAYBE THIS IS PART OF THE ROUTINE THIS FAR OUT FROM SURGERY, MS SUSANN, BECAUSE I'M DOING THE VERY SAME THING ... I'M NOT CHEATING, ACTUALLY MOST OF MY "FOOD" IS FROM PROTEIN BARS ... I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING ... EATING MORE LIKE AN ATKINS INDUCTION DIET ... PURE PROTEIN & SALADS (very healthy greens, not iceburg lettuce) ... NOOOOOOOO CARBS TO SLOW DOWN THE PROCESS. WELL, LET ME KNOW HOW IT WORKS FOR YOU & I'LL DO THE SAME. I STILL NEED TO GET ANOTHER 30 POUNDS OFF TO GET TO DR BYRNE'S GOAL OF 140 & I'LL BE AT 18 MONTHS AT THE END OF THIS MONTH & HAVE MY APPOINTMENT WITH DOC B THEN. I THINK JOAN IS AT 148 & SHE'S ABOUT MY HEIGHT ... & LOOKS FANTASTIC, SO I'D BE HAPPY BETWEEN 140 - 150 & SEE IF I CAN GET APPROVED FOR PLASTICS. LOVE YA & GOD BLESS YOU ... DAWN & NICk
