Hi Mary.... Is it "Mary" or "May"
I have a weather question. If you live further inland, for instance.... Goose Creek, versus Charleston or Summerville... do you find that the hurricane season is less frightening? I know that every area of the USA has its weather issues, for instance Boston has the snow/cold.. and such... I am just curious what your thoughts are on this.
Thanks.
Jess

Hey, this is Deb. Welcome to the area. To me, it doesn't matter if you are in Summerville, Goose Creek or Charleston, we take hurricanes serious. It depends on the level of it and we follow them closely. My son was due the date of our last major hurricane, Hugo, 17 1/2 years ago. Thank God he decided to stay inside my tummy alittle longer. Poor Florida gets slammed way more than us. Now that I have said that, we will probably get it this year. Oh, if it makes you feel any better, we sit on an earthquake fault also. But the last major earthquake was over 100 years ago.
