I found the Pure Protein Bars (chocolate peanut butter) at Sam's...15 bars for around $13. I bought them this past Friday.

Anita..I too use the Body Fortress Protein powder from Walmart and my labs this past month and always...were excellent...and at $11.97 I can afford them. I use the vanilla now and add caramel SF syrup after I mix it. Or Kalua SF syrup and yum.... Never tried the Pure Protein yet. I find the protein bars so heavy and sugar alcohols make me woozy. Not a good day for me today. Breakfast- one boiled egg, small cup of low fat cottage cheese and fruit cup. Snack- protein mix with crystal light. and a single serving bag of popcorn. Lunch- wasn't hungry so I only had 1 oz. of beef jerky. Snack- luna lemon zest protein bar Supper- probably left over chicken jumbo water- not much maybe 30 oz so far vitamins- half so far, take the other half before bed That's all folks! Mary

Not very good. Breakfast.... a few bites of cheese eggs and grits Lunch...nothing dinner....half a cheese bratworst with a dab of chili snack...a few doritos water..just a little and some juice Thats all...sounds bad....

hey. I'm on the pre-op program diet from MUSC. I love the calorie king, i have the 2007 book in my pocket all day I am on a 1500-1600 cal/day limit . Breasfast at 0030( I worked the overnight shift) 1 egg white quiche (found at wal mart, in the frozen foods) 310 cal 1 light yogurt 80 cal coffee with coffe mate sugar free vanilla carmel creamer 30 cal Snack at 0400 special k snack bar 90 cal lunch at 0730 grapes+ mellon 170 cal 2 egg white from hard boiled eggs 32 cal skim milk 1 cup 90 cal dinner 1700 1 1/2 cup salad mix 60 cal 1 tlbs blue cheese dressing 70 cal 16 small shrimp 90 cal 1/2 cup whole wheat pasta 85 cal snack with movie 2 cups light popcorn 70 cal total cal for today so far 1177, but that fat free ice cream in the freezer is calling my name. After last night...I'm surprised if I can eat a thing! Those chips are addictive! Today: Breakfast: My trusty bowl of oatmeal (I am SOOO predictable!) Snack: protein bar Lunch: 1/2 bag of pork rinds (ZERO carbs, 9g protein and only 5g fat/serving!)-a southern staple! Arizona green tea. Snack: other 1/2 of the bag! More tea! Snack2: Protein bar Dinner: Leftover taco salad Snack: protein brink. Water: about 36 ounces and then about 36+ ounces of Unsweetened tea Vitamins: 4 exercise: Yeah ME!!! I finally made it to the gym tonight for one of my favorite classes! I feel so much better! Hope you all had a great day and HAVE A HAPPY HUMP DAY tomorrow! melanie

I swear to you that I don't have a life. I just didn't sit at the computer today until now. I'll do better in the future, I promise. Because now I'm sitting here with e-mails to answer and posts to respond to, and I'm sleeeepy and I want to go to bed! (I ate too much of everything today ... doing better on that tomorrrow, for SURE.) Dawn

hey everyone...........its been a long week so my eating has not been go great..but it will get better.. Breakfast: 2 sausage patties lunch: nothing supper: small saucer of spaghetti...very small cause it doesnt agree with me snack: sugar free popsicle.. Ohhh Kathy... Where were you last night when I needed someone to talk me down from the ledge!!! Did I go home and make a chef salad like I posted I was going to?? HELL NO!! I went home.. grabbed a handful of Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies (freshly frozen from the freezer!) and a glass of wine and THAT was my dinner What is wrong with me??!!!
