My 7 reasons I am glad that I had this surgery... 1. I am much healthier now!!! 2. I can jump on the trampoline with my kids and they think that is cool!!! 3. My feet don't hurt when I get out of the bed and I don't look like an 80 year old woman walking to the bathroom!!!! 4. I am sitting Indian style in the chair that my butt used to push up against the arms of!!!! 5. I can sit in any chair, booth and not worry ifI am going to fit!!!!! 6. I can do more that "missionary" with my husband and enjoy it!!!!!!! 7. My husband tells me I am"hot" all the time!!!!!!! Actually the list goes on and on but I will stop here!!! Good luck Tanya!!!! Oh Mary you are such a sweet heart. This really brought tears to my eyes reading everyones reasons. I just got in from buying travel size everything for my hospital stay. Hopefully it's only gonna be 2 days because I only have enough for 2 days. LOL I also bought everything for the kids easter baskets and was thinking to myself..I won't be able to help them eat all this chocolate next week. Tiffany keeps asking me if I'm excited and my response is always NO but today it's really hit me this time next week I'll be in the operating room. So YES now I'm really excited-nervous-scared. My mom called me last night to let me know she will be cooking for me from Wed-Sunday so I'll have some last dinners from Mommy. Thank you everyone!!!

Tanya, I am a bad influence, but please eat a Reeses egg for me this week and if you have room, tell the cadberry eggs how much I miss them. I'm getting excited for you!!! Mary

I DARN-NEAR DROOLED ON THE BOX OF CADBURY EGGS BY THE REGISTER LAST YEAR (1st year after gastric bypass) BUT, THIS YEAR NONE OF THE EASTER CHOCOLATE OR CANDY APPEALS TO ME AT ALL. I'M SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT; THAT IS A MAJOR CHANGE IN ME.

Not me Lady D. I have to avoid that isle at Wal-Mart like the plague Those creme eggs were and still are my favorite easter candy. Glad to see you back on the board Julie

I doooooooo understand Ms Julie ... I avoid the aisle with the chips ... Nick goes & gets his Cheetos, the hard ones ... But, if I go on that aisle, I'll pick up those puffed Cheetos every time ... The big bag, of course ... & eat the entire bag in like 3 days ... So, I don't even go down that aisle anymore. I'm lucky that my Quaker Soy Crisps are on a different aisle even though they are chips.

Great idea...you are a wonderful angel Mary. We will be waiting for you on the losing side Tanya and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers on Monday. Please let me know if you need anything! Now for my reasons. 1. I can keep up with my ever growing number of grandchildren and enjoy every minute of it. 2. I can go to the movie theatre and not have to squeeze into a seat. 3. I am having so much more fun in life. 5. I have met some wonderful people both in the LCBB and the UPS and feel like I have made some new lifelong friends. 6. I love showing off in front of my soon to be ex-husband (the b**tch he left me for is now bigger than me...) 7. I can run up my stairs in my townhome - I could never have bought it before weight surgery... Susann
