UPDATE on me and My Mom :)

Hey everyone, Thanks for the prayers and emails. My mom had heart cath done last week, and now we have to go to Jacksonville FLA for another heart cath to have a stent put in (GA cannot do them unless the hospital has the ability to do open heart surgery). Her doc can do them in GA, but because she is in a "Study", it was a lottery so it would be unbiased, and 3 out of 4 can have it done in GA, but she lost the lottery and the computer chose her to go to JAX, so now she has to do it again, and we are going to drive from Brunswick GA to Jax and check in to St Vincent's in Jax. Then I leave from Brunswick on Thurs. back to CA at 6am, so I will have to get up in Jax around 3am and drive back to Brunswick, turn in the rental car, and get on the plane. YUCK!! I know they are glad I am home, and while I have been home, Tommy actually has been with me, because he had flown in to Macon, and his boss let him stay with me until he flies out of Macon again. So, that is what is going on with me. I broke down today and had some fried chicken and fried okra and battered dipped french fries, about 3, and 3 nuggets and some okra........so craving southern food and I got really sick and paid for it. Oh well, once a year is okay. Love you all, and thanks again. Keep praying for her please!! My mom and my dad need all the prayers they can get!! Esp. now she is quitting smoking....she and my dad, so please pray the meds work and they can quit smoking!! Love again, Deb

PS I am now in a size 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was buying clothes for a trip to Hawaii on April 15th with my hubby, and all my clothes from last summer, shorts, etc, are 10's and 8's and falling off, so I went to TJ Maxx, and most 4's fit!!! Some 6's, but most are loose!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I NEVER would have thought a 4!!!!! I do have new bikini pix, but they are in CA, I will download them when I get back to CA, or have Tommy do it, but you know that can take another month waiting on him!! D

OMG size 4! i dont think my calf would fit into a size 4 Hey if you ever wanna donate those 8's and 10's to the "needy" ill take em!!! ill pay for shipping too! jen

Hi Deb. St. Vincent's is a wonderful hospital (happens to be where I was born).....I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. Can't believe you are in a 4...so jealous... I am still going to CA in May (arriving in LA on the 4th and leaving on the 11th. Hope we can get together then. Send me your cell number via e-mail so I can call you when I am out there. Hey, the new medicine they are both on is called Chantix. It works by building up in your blood.....and affects your brain, so you don't want ciggarerttes. My aunt is on it, and by the 2nd week she said you don't want the cigarettes, but you remember that after dinner or something, the habit of doing it. Ask your doc for Chantix.....its very very good, and much better than having all the problems my mom is having from smoking.....heart arthrosclerosis, diabetes, overweight, etc......

I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers! As for the clothes, I am taking the decent ones to the alterations lady, can't afford to re-buy everything. I have to do that soon too, we are trying to go to Hawaii on the 15th of April. Susann, I will email you, I hope we are here during that time. Are you planning on going down to TJ to see Dr Fuentes for a plastics consult? He is wonderful and at least you could meet him in person and feel comfortable with him and even if you lose more weight, you could just email him new pics. He does consults via email. I really really wish I could get my thighs and boobs done before I go to Hawaii, but I just keep telling myself its a lot better than it was 1-2 years ago!! Love you guys, and Jen, LOL you are too funny!! Also, I knew the april fool's joke was fishy when it said you weighed almost 300lbs, cause I knew you didn't! Deb
