Cooper River Bridge Walk/run

Is anyone doing the Cooper River Bridge run/walk? Susan and I are, and were wondering if anyone else is?

I'll be there with bells on!!! I am quite excited. I did it the year that it was the last year to go over the old bridge and it was wonderful.

Go to www.bridgerun.com to see if you can still register. We are taking my car downtown tomorrow night and leaving it there. That way we can drive straight to Mt. Pleasant early (6am) Saturday morning, do the race and then drive my car back to Mt. Pleasant to get the other car. With us walking the bridge instead of running, I don't know if they will still have the free shuttles going back and forth. I hope you can make it, Jen! That would be great!!!! If you want to stay at my house Friday night you can. Actually, Deb and I are going to pick up our registration packets tomorrow evening and then going out to hear my friend's band play. Love for you to join us! Anyone that is going and would like to meet and walk together, let's figure out a time and place to meet. Maybe we can caravan to Mt. Pleasant Saturday morning and park near each other or something. Susan

The online registration is closed as of last night. However, you can still register in person today and Friday at the Gaillard Auditorium. Today from 8am-8pm and tomorrow from 8am-10pm. Susan

Thanks for offering to let me stay with you susan! I dont think im going to make it now.. my brother and sister in law need me to drive them to Atlanta tomorrow to catch a plane to TX.. Theyre going on a cruise! they suck I wish i were going with them! Plus i just ate a piece of chocolate cake and i feel really fat! the thoughts of walking 10k, much less running is killing me! hahah jen

The way I see it is, if I can make it to the top of the bridge, they can roll me down the other half. I wish you could've come, that would have been fun.
