Unscheduled Dr appointment
I covered my face telling Dr. Byrne about "The Pain", he laughed and said, "It wasn't me!!!!" He said I probably pulled something when I started working out too hard too fast. He said for me not to do lundges or squats until I come back in 6 weeks. I said no problem, I hate doing those anyways.
Oh, he said to tell Trent he was the man, and that it did hurt because of where I hurt myself (my tummy). He ask what position, and said to try another. I couldn't bring myself to tell him that when I told Trent it hurt, he flipped me around like a pancake. I couldn't even say what particullar position hurt, so I just said, "ok" like a whimp.
Of course Trent bowed up and said, yea, what can I say? He's retarted.
(Like he's John Holmes or something)
Deb

I tell ya what was funny too, He had me lay back on the table, and before I knew it he was unzipping my shorts and trying to feel around, quickly I said, I got it,
it's been a long time (13 years) since someone besides Trent tried to take my clothes off. I felt like some shy little school girl.
I'm surprised he didn't say, hello, I am a doctor.
Deb

I hope all turns out ok with you Deborah,
I started having lots of stomach pain for no reason and Dr.B couldn't figure out why after a ct scan and another swallow test. I started writing down everything I ate/drank each day and finally after 2 weeks realized the only thing I had everyday was dairy (milk/cheese/cottage cheese). I cut them out and wouldn't you know that within 2 days the pain was gone and I haven't had it since? I've never had trouble with dairy before but like they said "many things will change after this surgery". Now if I can only eat enough so that I can get some nutrition in and get off this feeding tube I'll be ok. I truly think my pouch is too small. I can litterally eat one green grape at 7am and be full the entire rest of the day. Of course this is not good so I had to get the feeding tube. Let us know what happened today and we will continue to pray for your healing. P.S Tell Trent he has to give you a little more time before trying his new tricks, you'll be healed really well after a few months and if he is patient, you can show him a few of your new tricks. Take things slow hun (no pun intended).
Robin
wow Robin, I didn't know you were on a feeding tube. That sucks. How does it work? I mean is it like an IV or something? It worries me that if I don't eat more, I will end up with one. Did they say how long you are going to need it? One of my eating problems before surgery was that I didn't like to eat, and I still have such a hard time getting over the little feelings in my head that tell me it's ok not to eat or take my meds. It just goes to prove that this surgery doesn't heal you, it's only a tool.
Yea, you just wait until I get a few more pounds off and heal more, Trent will be begging me for mercy. I'll have to remember this so I can return the favor. Then who will be the "wo-man"!!!!!!!!
