Please Pray for my Family

I just found out late last night that my dad has been having some chest pains and like a typical man(sorry eddie) didn't tell anyone. Well my mom got him to the hospital and yesterday he had a stress test and echo cardiogram and they found some blockage and will go in for a heart cath Friday at noon. So I won't be able to make it for the LCBB meeting tonite. We are leaving for Tennessee this afternoon after my oldest gets out of school. Please pray for my dad. I know heart caths are routine nowdays but it's MY dad this time and I guess I'm being selfish. Thanks guys.

Thanks for all of your replies. You guys are great! I'm sure he will be fine but this is the first grown-up medical thing with my dad. I hope that makes sense.. you know when you realize that your parents aren't immortal?

Yes, I had the same thing with my mom. When I asked her if I could help and she said yes, it scared me to death. My parents have always been there for me and I am ready to be there for them, but it was definately scare. Mom had the bandages on her face and she looked old. If you look on my profile, there is a picture of us last October. She is 63, but looks and acts so much younger. I know I'm rambling, but I experienced the same immortal feeling and it really shook me. I just pray that I will be able to help and provide for their needs as they have for me. Mary
