**What did YOU eat today? (WDYET)**

Ok I'm starting this daily thread here.
Today I will start by posting my food for today (more like CONFESSING my sins)
Bfast: Bran cereal and a banana (first bran cereal since surgery and BOY am I - and everyone around me - paying for it.)
Drive to work: SF vanilla nonfat latte
Snack: protien bar (to make up for low protien at breakfast)
Lunch: Michelina lean gourmet salisbury steak (200 calories 15 g protien)
Snack: a small naval orange...and then a handfull of Cadbury mini eggs and some Starburst..I know I KNOW I promised I wouldn't go there!!! I promise I will do better tomorrow!
Dinner: don't know yet. Meeting a friend for dinner. I'm craving Mexican, but I'm gonna let her pick and try to stick to a steak and salad type thing.
How about YOU?????

just sitting here wondering what i'm doing for dinner.
Breakfast: 2 cups of coffee, then protein shake on the way to work
Snack: a slice of cheese
Lunch: a friend used her subway BOGO coupon and brought me back a turkey sub, i had about 6 bites of it.
I've had two 20 oz bottles of crystal light.
Saturday I had "several" of those malted milk ball easter eggs, they were sooo goood, first candy i've had since surgery.
Good idea about this thread, maybe we can get ideas from each other, i get so tired of trying to figure out what to eat

I forgot to mention my water and vitamins and exercise!!!!
Water: about 40 ounces so far
Vitamins: OOPS! I forgot! Gotta remember when I get home!
Exercise: NONE! Packed my gym stuff, but my workout partner got sick so I used my lunch hour to run home and get the laundry started and run errands (grocery store, bank etc.) so I don't feel guilty. Maybe I will take the dog for a long walk after dinner. Try to undo the damage I did today.

I was really bad today...
breakfast: nothing
lunch: nothing
snack: dark chocolate snickers bar (paid dearly for that.. not too good coming back up as it is going down)
dinner: maybe nothing since I've made myself sick today...
water: really bad only 16 oz's of liquids today and it was regular tea with splendia so really no water no protien so I'm not doing good at all am I ?

I hope this nightmare ends soon. It's like being trapped in a bad dream. At least the feeding tube is not as painful as I thought it would be and I only have to worry about the bag of "food" at night so I don't have to walk around with it all day. (Ha as if I could actually have enough strength to walk around all day anyway). There are two IV tube lines that hang out of my arm and a long tube that goes up through my arm and into my heart. I have to wear a dressing over it all day and a nurse comes to the house to check on me and take blood/vitals/etc. A seperate company delivers all the needles/"food"/ and supplies I need so I don't have to worry about trying to go and pick things up. It's not too bad but I'll be glad when I can eat and get enough nutrition on my own so I can get this thing out, go back to work, and start back living. Talk to you soon hun,

Breakfast...2 eggs and cheese grits
snack...pure protein bar
lunch...chicken wrap
snack...no sugar added Klondike bar
2nd snack ( are we suppose to have another snack in the afternoon
**** cream sandwich!!!!
dinner....nothing so far because I am full!!!! wonder why?!?!?!
I will get something later with hubby.
water....50 oz.
vitamins...1 so far

Kathy...this is an excellent idea! I need some accountability...I am finding myself eating just a little too much here and there and I always have difficulty reining myself in...here goes:
Breakfast: 1 packet weight control oatmeal; 2 oz string cheese, decaf tea with splenda
Snack: Pure Protein bar
Lunch: 4 oz chicken salad from Savoury Corner (it is the best chicken salad-they only serve it on Wednesdays!) 4 saltines and 2 melba toasts ( I am a cracker/carb junkie)
Snack: Protein bar
Dinner: 4 baked chicken nuggets, about 3-4oz salad with crispies & ranch dressing on it.
I haven't had enough water today but overall my fluids are okay. I am a maniac for unsweetened tea!!!
Took my vitamins this morning...that's the one thing I do consistently right!
