August Statewide Meeting

Hey, I want to have the group for another statewide get together. My parents's have a wonderful house in Mt Pleasant perfect for entertaining and either the weekend of August 11 or August 18th would be good. We could do a brunch again and maybe just lay by the pool and gab the rest of the day. Their house is on the harbor, so we can also get the ocean vibes. without the sand. Read my post under Kathy's motivation and let's come up with something to make this a CELEBRATION for us. Maybe we could do a makeover afternoon or something??? I don't know Love you all lots. It might be easier to do a day trip or something.. I say we let the girls who couldnt go to the beach pick which date is best for them so they will be able to go this time! jen

Good idea. Either is fine for me but I need to know in about a month so that I can tell my brother and sister that I get the house that weekend. Mom and Dad will be in the mountains a lot this summer so we fight over who gets to use their house Mary

That sounds wonderful! Susann and I were talking about the possibility of scheduling a cruise (out of Charleston preferably) for after the first of the year. Wouldn't that be a blast! Of course, husbands and kids would be welcome, too. All things considered, cruises are very economical.

That sounds like a lot of fun but we will be in Oregon then. My husband has a family reunion that the family is dying for us to attend. I personally would prefer to stay home and let hubby and the kids go but I don't forsee that happening. LOL

gosh I wish I couls say I would be there but in June 20 we are moving to KY but will still keep in touch

Count me in! August by the pool/harbor sounds great especially since it will be 125 degrees right about then.
