Vitamins and protein
I still have my trouble getting my protein. I tried those choc bars....GROSS.....
I hate the carnation instant breakfast....Also, I am still taking the Flintstones chewable vitamins. What does everyone else take. Susan, you told me about a mixture for protein but I forgot to write it down. All advice is welcome...
Thanks Jennifer V
Also I am going to add some pictures of my children to my profile. Please take a look. They are my life. Jennifer

I take Optisource post bariatric vitamins, chewables 4 a day.. they are real good. Our dr told us that flintstones werent good enough because it doesnt have the amount of things you need for our new bodies. since we dont absorb. i know its very important to take the vitamins.. I missed about 4-5 months of them
and it caught up with me and i thought i was dieing.. literally. Please make sure these are a priority!
For protein i use Pure protein shakes, banana creme flavor is my favorite, its got 35 gms of protein in it and is in a coke can size can. Im sure Vitamin shoppe has both of these!
your kids are adorable!!

I had swallowing issues so I love the Publix brand multivitamin. It is tiny and I double up on it. I do my calcium and other stuff seperate, I've had good bloodwork so far.
Your children are gorgeous!!! I have to mix my chocolate protein powder with hot coffee and some sweetener and make a mocha drink. It makes it better for me.

Hi Jennifer
I had the same problem as you about the protein. Dr. Byrne was close to putting a feeding tube in. I found Isofruit Delight at the Bariatric Eating website. I mix it with V8 Splash (Diet) and can get it down at least twice a day. That's 110 calories and 42 grams of protein. It has made a really big difference for me. They have samples at Bariatric Eating but that is the only place I hace ben able to find this particular protein. If you are going to be in the area, let me know and I'll share some of mine with you.
It was nice meeting you and your husband Saturday. What a great time we had! I'll be ready to do it again before too long!
