Trying to be satisfied....But you know I never will be.
Well, I am a little down and need some cheering up. I tried to alter some things this week---more protein, more exercise, etc., and I still only lost 4lbs. That's what I've lost consecutively since the 3rd week after surgery. I know, I know, 4lbs is good, it just seems like I should be losing more. My 2month aniv is the 10th of this month. I guess my body is just doing its own thing by telling me that 4lbs a week is all that it is willing to give up.
I know that I should be happy with that, b/c longterm loss of 4lbs/wk will really add up. I did accomplish something this past weekend. My aunt and I walked over the Cooper River Bridge on Saturday morning, all 4 miles of it. It was so exhilerating! However, it kicked my a@$! I have been doing the treadmill at least 5-6 days per week, but it is no match for the bridge. I am down, but I am not out though. I even came home from shopping Saturday afternoon and did another mile on the treadmill. Anyway, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I really need the encouragement.

Iris, you are doing so well...don't be discouraged...and as you said, 4lbs in a week is nothing to sneeze at. Your doing great on exercise and that will change your shape. Have you measured yourself? I have since the day of surgery and when I am not losing what I think, when I measure I find that the inches are melting away. I measure every 25 of the month, that is the date I had surgery. And it really shows!! From Jan 25 to Feb 25 I lost 2 inches on my waist and my bust, and hips, each!
So start measuring now on your anniversary date and I know you will be amazed.
