Hey everyone, Thanks for all of the kind thoughts and prayers while I was in the hospital and recuperating from my breast reduction. I missed seeing you guys thursday and being on the boards. I'll give you a quick rundown, i don't want to bore anyone. I got to the hospital at 9, they took me right back and I actually went into surgery earlier that planned. I was done by 2 and in my room by 3. My wonderful Dad was there, as I sent DH home to take care of the children. My mom came next and I spent some evening time visiting with Kelly. We were sort of pitiful. Tried to watch TV but we were both asleep by 9:30. The pain wasn't excrutiating, but it hurt. I was on a pain pump but it made me nauseous so i asked for them to take it off. I went to oral stuff and it was better. Now that I'm home I've supposed to take Valium for the muscle spasms and demoral with phenergan in it for pain. They kick my butt, all that I want to do is sleep. I'm calling tomorrow to see if I can get something less strong, Here's the good stuff. The girls still look bruised and sort of flat.....BUT they are perky and smaller. Definately a size C when the swelling goes down. Dr Harvey did a great job. Some of the stitches are already healing and the scar tissue is so tiny. Sorry males if you are reading this, but it is very important to us girls. The nipples DO NOT hang down. They stick straight out. I can't believe it. He definately lifted as he reduced. Even in the yucky sports bra they look good. He did some lipo under my armpits and I'm thrilled with that too. I just tried on a bathing suit. Its not a pretty site, but definately better than before. Talk to all of you soon Mary

I'm so happy for you! can't wait to see how you look. One day MY nipples will point forward. Unfortunately, unless I win the lottery, I think I may just have to use duct tape. Kathy

I am so happy for you. Isn't the feeling great? You feel like you can breath, it takes pressure off your back, and wo- the girls do look different. It is so cool when you get to go shopping for these cute little bra's. You'll soon notice that people will be talking to your face and not your chest. Heck, the way you are looking, they are going to be checking you out all over. LOL Really, I am proud of you for taking this step. I just know you will be happy with yourself for doing it. Deb
