Concerns and question

Ok I just moved to the myrtle beach area about 6 weeks ago now. I have had a long 3yrs post op and have had 14 surgeries in that time. Well I thought everything was ok now but day before yesterday I woke up with a pain in my lower back and left stomach. I thought it might be my kidneys at first but I then realized i have a large knot on the lower left side of my back and around to the front of my stomach in that area is quite swollen. I have tried not to think about it much but my b/f is really worried and wants me to get checked. Unfortunately I no longer have insurance. I dont know if I should wait it out or what to do. I cant afford an office visit with a doctor right now. I am not sure if this will go away or what.....I had a tummy tuck in 05 so it is easy for me to tell when my body is out of whack. Now my back hurts and my stomach hurts constantly.........I am not dumb so i know i really need to get checked out but yes i am stubborn...I guess I just needed to vent a little. I have to work 3rd shift again tonight then I am off Sunday and Monday so I will get it looked at someohow during those days if it doesnt get better. Just help me out and cross your fingers for me..I am so tired of hospitals and surgeries..After my last one I swore I wouldnt go through it again..>My body is just tired and I am tired of it all...Plus I just started a good job 6 weeks ago and would hate to end up in the hospital again....

I am so sorry Tina....my advice is to get to the doctor as fast as you can. Waiting only makes things worse. Any chance you could qualify for Medicaid so they can help with the medical bills? I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. If you get a chance come see us in Myrtle Beach....we love meeting new people! Susann

Thanks Susann.......Today I have been feeling worse so I promised my b/f that I would go and get checked as soon as I get off work in the morning. As far as medicaid they say I dont qualify. My kids can get it but I can't. But like I said I am at wor****il 7am then I am going to get checked because now the pains have increased and I am vomitting. Plus the swelling hasnt gone down at all. I definitely plan on meeting up with everyone when you all get down here.. Tina

Tina, I am sorry you are in so much pain, but please get to a dr. If you have to go and make payments, do that. The longer you wait, the worse it could be getting. I know you like this job, but I am sure they would understand an energency. I hope we will get to meet you in Myrtle Beach. We are going to be staying at The Landmark Resort in South MB, the 3rd weekend of this month, March. Let us know what the dr. says. Deb
