Friday A.M. update

To my friends, thanks so much..I am feeling a little better this morning. The Prayers are definitley working. I started Prevacid again Wed. evening and they are starting to help. I slept pretty good last night after using heating pad...then I had some relief from the gas. I went from 156.4 to 153.8 this morning. Not the way I want to lose. I was pretty frightened last night as I couldn't get liquids in w/o pain but then DD reminded me that was what happened when I had a raw spot on my pouch near the stoma...so maybe that is what is going on and all that was done for that last time was the Prevacid and antibiotics. So I will call surgeon this morning and see what he says today since the pain has subsided. I haven't tried to drink yet but will in a few minutes. Thanks for the prayers and keep praying. I do not want to go in the hospital. My DD is going on her first retreat today and that would freak her if I had to be admitted. Thanks, Joan M

Joan I will continue to pray for your healing from this. I am so glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. I will also pray for your daughter going on her retreat. I am sure she will have a wonderful time! How exciting...her first retreat!!!! Melissa

Thanks Melissa...she just came into the family room and said she had a nightmare about having to put our dog down (he's 17 and vet thinks he has doggy alzheimers) and she said she thought she could handle it but in her dream she couldn't...how sad....I love this girl so much. We are together 24/7 because we homeschool and she is precious. She helped me so much yesterday and laid in bed with me and got heating pad and so much more. I am truly blessed. She doesn't know but we do that she is roomed with her favorite counselor and girls. God is good. Joan M
