How you know when hings are really bad
Well I spent all night Friday at the hospital with my daughters. It was a typical day. Went to work took kids to the sitters picked them up made dinner then when my youngest (1yr) was nice and slimy (refried beans) I removed her clothing to find her back was black and blue. Not one min after I saw her my oldest layed down and grabbed her diaper and told me s he "hurt" So what do I do. My cell phone had no mins and my husband had my car.So I grab the keys to his work truck (and thats a big truck) and go 90mph to the hospital. What do you think happions next. I get pulled over. I told the police officer what happioned and he still gave me a ticket. Then he escorted me to the hospital.when I went inside he left. Only to be inside for about two mins. The doctor rushed in and looked at my kids and said "I'm calling the police." The bruises on my youngest back were bite marks and you can still see them a week later. And my oldest was inconclusive becouse the didnt want to do a rape kit and tramatize her more. So now I am dealing witgh police investagion and all that stuff. I fear for my kids and havent worked all week. I told my boss I had to quit b/c I couldnt afford day care on my paycheck and he is giving me an extra $100 a week to keep me there. I am so mad. My nerves cant take much more and I have battled a migrain all week. Well I just needed to vent.

I am so sorry this is happening! If there is anything I can help you with please let me know. What kind of bite marks were they - human or animal? Just curious. Have you had any problems with your sitter before? This is terrible and I feel so bad for you and your children. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for you and your children are going through this. You did the right thing by taking them directly to the hospital.
At the very least, your daycare provider needs to be investigated. Someone wasn'****ching the baby if there were that many marks on her back. Chances are another unsupervised child did it. You know she probably cried. Why didn't someone rescue her?
And as far as your oldest. The chances that something horrible could have happened to her just breaks my heart. Please make sure you take advantage of all avenues of counseling for her. As a former victim, I can promise you the trauma lasts a lifetime. I am glad she was able to indicate that something was wrong though. Now you can keep her safe.
hugs,
Kathy
