Debbie is doing GREAT!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Debbie is doing fantastic! She is in some pain, which is to be expected, but she is up and walking around, using the bathroom, drinking her juices and water, and feeling pretty good. I stayed with her all day today and she was up walking around the room and we took a few walks down the hallways. We stopped in to see Deborah Valentine and she is doing well also. I don't foresee any problems with Debbie's recovery - she is a real trooper! Dr. Byrne came in to see her twice today and he told her there were several pictures of her in the OR and in Recovery. One of the pics is of Debbie getting prepped for surgery and Dr. Byrne giving the peace sign. It's cute. I'm sure she will post them as soon as she gets home. Debbie wanted me to tell everyone thank you for all your prayers and best wishes. She can't wait to see everyone again too. If she feels up to it, I'll bring her to Eddies on Saturday but only if she feels like it. I don't want her to push herself too hard.
