Good Morning All!! I don't know about you, but I have been STRUGGLING with staying away from the carbs during this winter season!!!!! As such, I am still teetering between 155-160. I have made Dr. Byrne's goal of 160, however my own personal goal is 145 pounds. In addition to that, after 2 surgeries, my body is still every changing and I find that I am not quite happy with my waist area. It seems that the more weigh and swelling I lose, the larger my waist looks to ME.Because I am still working towards a goal, I have had to sit and have a SERIOUS conversation with myself. Last week, I decided that I had to put forth more of an effort to exercise than I have been SO... I got a book called Strength Training for Women by Joan Pagano. I sat down with myself and worked my way through this book, writing out a plan to target my own personal problem areas...I went to Walmart, bought some weights and I have been on the go ever since!! So for those of you that find yourselves in the same place that I am in, join me- not only in committing to exercising for at least 30 minutes daily, but to staying away from the bad carbs!!! There is strength in numbers- so let's be strong together!!! Towana

I haven't been given the go ahead yet to exercise, and now I have the stomach flu on top of everything....or at least I think its the stomach flu....I hope. I have severe pain in my abdomen area, like when I had bile duct problems. I hope I don't have anymore problems. YUCK!! I have new pics uploaded on my profile now too. Good Luck! I am waiting until I can start exercising! I agree about the carbs, what's up with that now? Its like I am craving bad things, so I am trying to limit carbs, and only eating whole grain things, pita pockets etc...and low carb bread, but I don't eat much carbs anymore. I also need to up my salads, but I haven't felt like going out of the house lately to go shopping. Love ya'll! Deb
