Will Miss Y'all

Sorry I can't go tonite but take a bite and think of me. Just curious..I am 4 weeks post op today and I am getting these random pains in my pouch area. Nothing bad just a pulled muscle kind of pain. No nausea, or fever but it's pretty consistant. I don't take pepcid or anything. Could I be gassy? Thoughts?

Hey Sundi, I had pains on my left side of my stomache where their was a tiny cut. I'm not sure what went in that cut but anyways...it was on the same crease where my pants buckle and my belly button are. I was afraid something was perhaps stuck in my intestines or something. Dr. Bryne said it was my nerves in my stomache after he pressed down on it really hard and it really hurt. Oh and mine hurt when I walked, breathed, laid down, etc.... That happened at my 1 month post-op to be exact and it hurt for at the most 5 days and it went away. I hope this makes since. Good luck. Jen

Thanks for the reply. It helped a lot. The thing is that it seems to be getting worse. i'm hoping to hold out for my first appt but I may have to call her before then.

You need to call. I'm sure they have had every question on the face of the earth. Its better to be safe and contact MUSC. Deb
