Simply the best!!!!!

Oh my, I had the sweetest thing happen to me this afternoon. My boyfriend of 12 years has been telling me for the past 2 days that he had a surprise for me. It was driving me nuts trying to figure this out. So tonight about 8pm he calls me in our bedroom and ask me to have a seat. On the bed is a cd player. Then, in an emotional loving out reach to me, he begins to tell me that he had heard this song at the gym for the past 2 days and that it reminded him of me. He said he knows how much this surgery means to me and he wants me to have my dream. He had all kinds of sweet loving things to say that only sent me to crying. He told me how much he loves me and how proud he is of me, and now he wants me to be proud of myself. Then he gives me the sweetest letter he had written to me, and starts playing the song for me to listen to, and hands me a check (rather large one) to pay for my surgery. If you get a chance listen to the song "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts, off of their "Me And My Gang" CD. I knew I had a great fella. What do you think? PS I am still crying with romantic happiness!!!

He is such a sweet person. I'm so happy for you, Deb. You make such a great team together and I know he loves you so much. But, hey, what's not to love? You are good to him also. I'm glad that he is going to be so supportive of you. That will make things much easier for you, especially since he already knows so much about protein, exercise, etc. Keep surrounding yourself with positive people, which I'm glad to say Trent is one of them!
