Hello Shay! I have insurance through Premier. I am an employee of Palmetto Health in Columbia but I live in Newberry. They're very strict about anything done outside of their hospital system and right now they don't offer the Lapband. I had originally gone to Lexington for the surgery but I could not get approved. I was stunned last week when the insurance company themselves called ME to tell me I was approved for the surgery with Dr. Rapp! I have gone to the seminar and already have an appt with the coordinator. I have been very impressed with the staff and their services so far. Good luck with your approval and keep in touch. Hi Dianne!! I wish you luck with Dr. Rapp and his staff. Juliene is a part of his bariatric staff and she is wonderful. She has helped me with getting everything together for insurance and just has been a great support person through this whole waiting process. I think you will be very satisfied with his staff and with the doctor. Isn't he a cutie!!!! Hopefully we can keep in touch. Keep me informed about your progress. SHAY
