Prayers needed for my husband....

David had a massive heart attack on thursday... they did a quadrupal bypass (sp?) on him on friday so he's in Spartanburg Heart Center now... I've been awake for going on 41 hours now and I've not eatten since noon on thursday.... so I'm sleepy and weak..... so if you have time please send a prayer up that my husband will come through all of this..... he's only 44, too young for it all to end lots of love Stephie

thanks sweetie.... Dr. Ross came by today and checked on him.... he's doing good after surgery but he had all of his atteries clogged and a huge blood clot in the main on to the front of the heart...... he's still not been wakened up yet and has that huge tube down his throat and all those tubes coming out of his chest..... but I'm thankful god was with him and let him make it to work to clock in, instead of having it on I-85 where we would have most likely died....... *hugs* Stephie

Hey Stephie, I am so sorry to hear about your husband's heart attack. Just know that we are praying for him for a speedy recovery. We know the ultimate healer don't we!!! Just remember something though, you've got to take care of yourself so you can take care of him. Don't let yourself get run down. Please keep us posted. Thank you Donna, I'm doing better, I got some rest and I'm eatting now.... Went to see David today and he's not breathing on his own so they are keeping him still asleep and on the breathing tube..... he needs alot of prayers and it's gonna take a good while before he's back to himself again....... *hugs* Stephie

Stephanie, that is sooo sad. I will definitely pray for him, and let's not forget about you!!! You need to remember that you will not be any good to him if you are sick or get sick from not taking care of yourself. PLEASE do not deny yourself care and food. Upstate ladies, can you please take her some protein?? If I were there, I would run right over and give you a hug, a pillow and some protein!
