LCBB Need your vote/opinions?????

Okay, so we started this month with the 3rd Saturday being a meeting day. As you know, we are meeting at Mary's house next Saturday, January 20th at 12:00. As most of you also know, MUSC has its monthly support meeting the 3rd Thursday of each month (which is why we initially chose the 3rd Saturday). Anyway.....now for the vote, do you want to have the LCBB meeting on the 3rd Thursday anyway or should we plan on skipping that Thursday. Opinions please..... Susann

Hi Deb.....thanks for the compliment, I am in a 2 month stall and am frustrated at the moment. Going to go on the plateau buster starting tomorrow to try to get moving again. Still got 40 lbs. I want to get off.....then on to the plastics. Susann

Hi Becca. We are a group of gastric bypass patients who call themselves the Lowcountry Bypass Buddies (LCBB). We are an informal group of people who range from pre-surgery to a few years out. We meet on Thursday nights at JC's Bar & Grill on Ashley Phosphate Road (in the Food Lion Parking Lot) and talk. We have a great group of people and it has been a Godsend to most of us trying to get through the everyday emotions of this process. Most of us started pre-op and the post-ops have helped people through. We all understand what each other are going through. Come try us on Thursday night...you will get hooked with the rest of us. Susann Oh, forgot the important thing, Mary is one of our members who volunteered to have our first weekend meeting. Some people couldn't make Thursday nights (because of children or work problems) and so we are trying one weekend meeting a month. We are meeting at her house next Saturday, January 20th at 12:00. She lives in Crowfield (Goose Creek). Let me know if you would like to come and I will get some directions for you.... Good Luck. I am easy...boy, that didn't sound too good did it? What ever you decide, I am in. I would like to go to MUSC and see what that's all about, but I am green and have alot to learn. I guess if I had to choose between MUSC and LCBB, LCBB would win hands down. You ladies (and gents) rock!!! I have never met a more caring group in my life. The more meetings the better, I say. Noone can come to all of them, so make as many opportunities as possible. Eddie

I have to agree with Eddie, I vote to keep the meeting!!

I love going to JC it is great ,keep it please it is my mini get away for the week lol.
