stuck at 200. whatever
I wanted to be in onederland by new years didn't make it so I said ok by my birthday the 8th of Jan. But nope I am stuck since the 3rd of Jan. at 200.??? whatever. It moves up and down. I know I need to exercise more, more water more protein. But it is so hard to get in enough water and protein. I usually drink most of my protein that's easier. I add a little hersery syurp fat free to my shakes now they are easy to drink. Before they tasted awful like malt balls. I mix up 2 shakes that's 2 scoopes with 20 oz skim milk plus with about 2 tablespoons hersey syurp boy it REALLY helped with the taste. How long have any of you been stuck at a weight? Wondering how long these periods last, I know I lost a lot fast so my body is catching up. Just want an idea of long this lasts and how often does it usually happen while trying to reach your goal. THE STALLING IS ACTUALLY YOUR BODY TAKING A BREAK & RE-ADJUSTING THE FAT DEPOSITS THROUGHOUT YOUR BODY. IT'S NECESSARY TO THE PROCESS SO DON'T WORRY WHEN THIS OCCURS. IT'S FRUSTRATING, BUT THE CORRECT PATTERN YOUR BODY MUST FOLLOW.
THE BEST THING TO DO IS WEIGH EVERY DAY & MARK IT ON A CALENDAR ... AFTER A MONTH, YOU'LL SEE THAT YOU'VE USUALLY LOST MORE THAN YOU THOUGHT. STUDIES HAVE SHOWN THAT PEOPLE WHO WEIGH EVERY DAY LOSE A LOT MORE WEIGHT & KEEP IT OFF LONG-TERM THAN PEOPLE WHO WEIGH SPARATICALLY. I HAVE AN ARTICLE ON IT IN MY PROFILE.
ALSO, MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE EATING ENOUGH PROTEIN, THEN ADD ANOTHER 25% ... FOR SOME REASON, THE EXTRA PROTEIN REALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE IN LOSING WEIGHT ... NORMALLY FOR A WOMAN OF AVERAGE HEIGHT, THAT WOULD BE SOMEWHERE AROUND 100 GRAMS OF PROTEIN A DAY WHICH WOULD INCLUDE THE EXTRA PROTEIN.
CLEAR FLUIDS ... WATER, CRYSTAL LITE, MINUTE MAID LITE, ETC ... AS MUCH AS YOU CAN DRINK!
ALSO, IS THE HERSHEY SYRUP SUGAR FREE? YOU SAID FAT-FREE. SUGAR & CARBS PRODUCE A CHEMICAL IN YOUR BODY THAT SIGNALS IT TO "STORE FAT" ... PROTEIN PEODUCES A CHEMICAL IN YOUR BODY THAT SIGNALS IT TO "USE FAT" SO YOU LOSE WEIGHT.
