Susan don't get discouraged..you are doing great and those fluctuations do happen even now for me at almost 8 1/2 months. Congrats on meeting that big goal...guess what? There are many more to come!!! Also, I find that when I enter the foods I eat on fitday.com I can see that a lot of days I really don't eat enough...my pouch is finicky...and I try to increase my protein. Even add a couple crackers or almonds and it usually will help my body to undestand it is not starving to death.

I DO THAT AS WELL, MS JOAN ... ALMONDS & WALNUTS ARE THE HEALTHIEST NUTS ... &, A SMALL SCOOP OF REDUCED-FAT PEANUT BUTTER IS ONE OF THE BEST SNACKS FOR BOTH GASTRIC BYPASS & DIABETICS. IF YOU WANT IT ON SOMETHING, PUT IT ON CELERY OR A SLIVER OF APPLE, BUT BE SURE TO WATCH THE SUGARS IN FRUIT.
I HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO GRAZE ON THIS, BUT I FOUND A TRAIL MIX THAT IS REALLY GOOD & NOT SO SUGARY ... IT'S SAM*S CHOICE - NATURE TRAIL IN THE PURPLE BAG. BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE NUTRITIONAL INFO AS TRAIL MIXES ARE NOW ADDING SUGARY COATINGS ON THE FRUIT WHICH MAKE THEM SO UNHEALTHY.

IT SEEMS LIKE EVERY TIME I HIT A LOWER WEIGHT, THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS MY BODY GOES INTO SHOCK & SAYS, "OHHH NOOO YOU DON'T!" THEN IT GAINS BACK 1 OR 2 #s ... THEN IT LOSES THAT & GOES LOWER AGAIN. I CAN ALMOST BET ON IT.
