Happy New Year I am sitting here at work determined to start the new year off right. Here is my list of resolutions, Please share yours so that I don't feel alone. 1. Put protein first again on my menu 2. Exercise 3 times a week at least 3. Be kind to all, but not so kind that I am taken advantage of. I hope that everyone has a Happy New Year Mary

I have some too. 1. Protien first 2. Cut back drastically on bad carbs 3. Spend more time doing active things with my family (outdoors etc.) 4. Be a better housekeeper 5. Be a better employee and appreciate my job more (which I could start by getting off this message board so much!) 6. Workout regularly...at least 30 minutes a day even if it is just walking at lunchtime 7. Quit spending so much money! I could go on and on. But those are the main things. Kathy

1. Well, because I teach Bible Studies I am in the Word a lot...but I really want to be in the Word more...and that will help me with my other resolutions because I will need His strength to do it...because in my flesh I have no strength. 2. Be more in love with Jesus today than I was yesterday. I want to finish my life more devoted to the Lord than I was the day I asked Him into my heart almost 20yrs ago. 3. Follow the pouch rules...protein first! 4. More fluids daily. 5. More exercise. 6. Be better wife and Mother and better homeschooling Mom. 7. Be better friend to everyone. 8. Be at goal by April, 07. That should keep me fairly busy...... In Him Who is able to make me able, Joan M

I prefer to call them goals: First -- learn how to truly forgive... Second -- leave the past in the past...move on. --Kelly

I'm doing them this year, after a number of years of not. Here goes: 1. To get more exercise. 2. To watch less TV. 3. To read 50 books -- and keep track of them. 4. To gain control of finances. 5. To get my house -- and my life -- organized. Should be easy, right? Lisa

Happy New Year Mary. I do have resolutions too..... 1. Get back to food basics and get this last 40 lbs. off; 2. Exercise on a regular basis (at least 4 times a week on the Gazelle); 3. Find a weight/firming program I can live with; and 4. Enjoy my new life! I am sure there are more.....but those are the most important. Susann

Well, 1. To better my relationship with Christ 2. To be better at exercising so that I can "fix" what the panniculectomy did not!! 3. To keep protein and water first, and maintain my steadfastness in stayinig away from bad carbs... 4. To appreciate all the goals that I have accomplished this year!!! These are most important!!!

1. FOCUS WHATEVER I DO IN AN ATTITUDE OF CHRISTIAN FAITH & STRENGTH (especially when dealing with cruel, disrespectful people) RECOGNIZING WHAT I CAN DO & WHAT MUST BE LEFT IN GOD'S HANDS ... 2. ADD MODERATE EXERCISE TO MY WEIGHT LOSS CHANGES & GET TO (or, below) DR BYRNE'S GOAL WEIGHT OF 140 #s WITH A TOTAL LOSS OF 140 #s (or, more) ... 3. COMPLETELY REORGANIZE MY SCHEDULE & OUR HOUSE ... 4. ESTABLISH A HOME BUSINESS & EXPAND IT SO THAT IN 2008, NICK WILL BE ABLE TO RETIRE FROM WORKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE & WE CAN WORK TOGETHER FOR OURSELVES ... 5. CHECK INTO & GO FORWARD, IF POSSIBLE, WITH HEART SURGERY TO FIX/HEAL THE LAST REMAINING HEALTH ISSUE THAT SLOWS MY PROGRESS IN LIFE. GOD BLESS Y'ALL ... DAWN & NICK
