Hey People!! I sit here in my house watching the South Carolina game and I need a drink!! Talk about an emotional roller coaster!!! I was looking online for sugar free, low carb alcohol suggestions just in case in the NEAR future I want a drink!! Just picking...no drinking for me but just to know the options are out there is good. Anyway, I found a sugar free margarita mixer that is made with splenda. It is called Baja Bob's. For those of you that miss your occasional margarita (like me) it might be worth a try. I could use some now!! Oh well...let me get back to the game. Rachel

I don't know much about wine and stuff like that. Back in the day (before surgery) I was in to the fruity high sugar drinks. However, I did read (while doing my research) that wines are usually ok..not a lot of sugar. Dry wines are the best. I don't know anything about them. Just passing on the info. Hope you find something. Rachel

I haven't had any, but I understand vodka is OK -- have it with sugar-free cranberry juice ****tail..... Lisa

GO ****s !!!!! Rachel, I'm 71/2 months out and I have had some wine, I was fine I also have had some Jack Daniels with very very flat diet coke and lots of ice and again I was fine. Of course now post op the effects are felt very quickly so 2 or 3 drinks are the limit. Just try a little at home first to make sure you don't dump. Enjoy Lesley

I was right there with you watching the Carolina game. It was great and I am so happy Carolina won! Go ****S! When I want a drink, I go for wine, usually a Resiling (sp). But I do miss my mixed drinks. I love Whiskey Sours with Wild Turkey. I may have to see if I can find some of those sugar free mixes. Thanks for tip. Julie
