Birthday suggestions...

Tomorrow is my birthday. My hubby asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday. Well before surgery it would have been all about eating. Well, now I hate to even bother...eating just isn't as fun anymore!!! Any suggestions for what we can do?

This past year was my 40th, so my parents surprised me with my brother and sister in law at a restaurant....I had steamed mussells and a salad...so you could go eat, just eat light. We then did all the touristy things in Charleston that we had not done since we first lived there in 93 and the kids were little. You can go to a movie and then shopping, and perhaps eat light somewhere like Jason's Deli....which I miss like heck out here in CA. Go on an overnight trip to the beach? Or do some sort of historical tour in Greenville or somewhere Also, Publix made a SF cake for my mom. I ate a teeny tiny piece, and did not get sick, and I got to have cake on my birthday!! Thanks for the suggestions. We ended up going out to an Italian Resturant and sharing a plate. It was good. However, I spent the entire afternoon trying to figure out how to get the dog pee stain out of my carpet before my husband saw it!!! Some kind of birthday??? My husband wasn't as mad as I thought about the stain but I wasn't able to get it out. Any suggestions. Rachel

I haven't seen you in a few weeks, probably won't recognize you when I do see you. I know how you feel about the eating out, it's just not fun anymore. A lot of things I use to love taste like crap now, and I can't get into going out much anymore. I'm like everyone else, go do something just for yourself. Ever do a spa thing or go have a pedicure? Hey they both make you feel soooooo good, it's worth it. Go buy something new, or go see a movie. Hey, save money, stay home and have lots of SEX, lol!
