How much was your lapband and who was your doctor?

I am looking to get the lapband done but I cant seem to find any prices. I dont have insurance and I also would like rec of doctors in the SPartanburg SC area :help:

The lapband from my Dr's office without insurance , which covers the hosp, surgery, dr, and all is about 23k.. RNY there is about 30k.. My Dr. is in Greenville Dr. Bour.. I love his office and all.. you get psychologist and nutritionist for life there as well.. Jennifer

I think...not positive, that Dr. Byrne said it would be about $16 or $18k without insurance. You should call and ask, MUSC Bariatric program. I know it was much lower than I thought it would be paying cash. The RNY was about 18k, and maybe lapband was 16k? Take care Deb

hi, Cari, i just had a lap band done by dr balder in conway sc - outpatient surgery - i was first in at 6:00 am, surgery was around 8:00-8:30...and I left the hospital that day around 4:00....the cash pay plan was right at $13k. dr balder is great, and the program coordinator is BJ there, she is very helpful and supportive. the surgery went well, i just adore dr balder and his staff - everything is going great! i hope you can get your worked out!
