One year Follow up

I had my one year follow up this past Tuesday, I am officially PAST goal.. which is kewl considering I still have some baby weight to lose. So that was really great news. Dr Morgan thinks I look great. Didn't agree with me when I told her that I wanted to lose more. Had my blood work done and had her check my potassium just o make sure it was keeping level, it's fine thank goodness though I am very anemic and my protein was pretty sad as well. So I need to work on that. Weird thing is was my b12 was high, which is odd cause I have been really bad about slacking on that one, and I didn't have ANY the whole time I was in the hospital, unless there was some in those IVs. So I am taking iron now and I am hoping that once I get that taken care of I will start feeling better. I know I have only been home a few days I am just tired of not having any energy or any strength. TO top it all off Jer had to go back to work last night (graveyards) yuk ...so not only will he be gone at night but sleeping all day. though if needed I could always wake him up. The best thing is Deadre is home for Break so she has been a huge help. Obviously I won't be coming to any meetings in the near future but know that I am thinking of everyone and love you all. I really do appreciate all the support I got in th hospital. I don't know what I would have done with out you all. you are the best. I never once would have thought when I first come to my first meeting that I would meet such an amazing group of people!!

Just take GOOD care of yourself and listen to your body. It will tell you what it needs. Don't push too hard to lose weight right now. You've got to get back on your feet. Eat healthy - lots of protein to get your strength back! Hope you have a really great Christmas with your new little family. We're all sending you our love, B

Oh I know Losing is that LAST thing on my mind at the moment.. I am going to be more diligent about keeping track of my protein though.

Hi how are you? I havent posted in awhile ,since ive gotten pregnant im now 7 months.But just had a question.Did you still take all your vitamins or just take the prenatal pills .I didnt know I could still take the others so ive just stuck to the prenatal ones.

Hi dawn, im doing great.Im having a girl.And im due March 13.Everything seems to be going fine ive only gained 15 so far for now..Lol....I cant wait till she comes ,it will be my first,and if it wasnt for this surgery I would have never been able to have kids .I lost 115 total and soon as it came off I was pregnant.I want to loose more after she comes so the rest is up to me.Hope your doing fine and have a good christmas .Take care
