Hate my job - LOVE my coworkers!!

Because I support an office full of people, I get lots of aggravation BUT I also get lots of gifts around the holidays. Every year, it is usually restaurant gift certificates, boxes of chocolates, homemade jellies and goodies, etc. THIS year, everyone has been so considerate of my surgery. I have only gotten candles, gift certificates to clothing stores, etc. I really expected to have to give half my gifts away! So full of surprises! I love those guys. Just wanted to share. Kathy

You won't believe this. But as I was typing a response, one of the managers just showed up with a gift bag full of chocolates! He was very apologetic about it though and said he hoped I could have a couple. So sweet. Unfortunately, I won't be having ANY. I spent all last evening, last night and some of this morning being punished for the bite of forbidden chocolate cake I had yesterday! Kathy

THAT IS TOO FUNNY ... AT LEAST HE WAS SWEET ENOUGH TO BE APOLOGETIC ABOUT THE CHOCOLATES! WELL, LESSON LEARNED ... EVERYTHING IS SO TEMPTING THIS TIME OF YEAR, ESPECIALLY, BUT WE DO HAVE SO MANY SF & NSA PRODUCTS THAT WE CAN ENJOY AS WELL! SORRY YOU GOT SICK BUT IT MAY BE A BLESSING IN DISGUISE! GOD BLESS YOU ... Kathy, I take it you are an administrative assistant??? When I did that for a sales team they spoiled me at Christmas time...man I miss that. One year they even sent two of the ladies on the team out to Belk and bought me 3 new outfits...very nice ones too!!! Now, I'll be lucky if I get anything!!!! --Kelly

I am an administrative assistant PLUS. My actual job title is different becasue I have more responsibilities. They gave me more money and a job title so they could just heap some more on my plate. Thats fine. There are no women here, just men. So I'd say you were pretty lucky to get those outfits. I don't even want to imagine what these guys would end up buying. I have to say I am spoiled all the time, but this time of year is extra fun. Kathy
